For a living, his grandma would leave early and return late, so Mu Shen could only stay in the courtyard by himself.
There were many children in the courtyard, but none of them would play with him.
"You're a child without parents; we won't play with you."
"Your mom is a whore, disgusting."
"Nobody even knows who your dad is, keep away from us, you're not allowed to play with us."
These were the words he heard most often.
