"You... what are you doing?"
Watching Shane playing so joyously with a group of fairies, Carol eventually spoke up.
Only then did Shane notice Carol's arrival.
"What, it's just you."
Shane responded with a pout, yet he didn't stop frolicking with the fairies.
Hearing Shane's words, which seemed as if he didn't want to see her, Carol subconsciously wanted to get angry.
But then, she gave up, took a few deep breaths, suppressed the irritability in her heart, and approached Shane with a composed face.
"Children, you go play by yourselves for a bit."
Carol gently addressed the numerous little fairies around Shane.

The fairies began to stir slightly, seemingly reluctant.
This made Carol look at Shane with a complicated gaze.
"Don't look at me like that." Shane clarified without hesitation: "They came here to play on their own, I didn't kidnap them."
"I know." Carol replied, as if speechless: "I didn't say you kidnapped them."
