The woman hesitated at first, considering she didn't know who Alex was. But after a bit of persuasion from Alex, she gave in and let him check on her child.
Alex quickly grabbed the toddler's wrist and checked his body. Whisker used his senses at the same time, giving Alex twice the amount of information regarding what was going on in the toddler's body.
He opened his eyes and looked toward the mother. "Do you happen to live close to where they keep the Sunhearts?" he asked.
The woman raised her eyebrows. "Y-yes," she said quickly. "How did you know?"
"Your child has a Yang constitution, so keeping him around Yin all the time is making him sick," he explained. He watched the mother, hoping she understood what he meant, but it appeared she didn't.
"What's Yang?" she asked.
