Sir Kriss paused to think. Then he said, "Maybe her death was a mistake. Maybe Celine even knew about the telepath, and they were working together, but they argued about something, which led to their fight and Celine's subsequent death."
He shook his head and said, "There are just too many unknowns."
The lady also provided some options. "It could also be that there is no telepath helping the Golden Hammer gang at all and the whole gang is innocent."
Sir Kriss nodded and said, "That could be true too. But I don't care. All I want to know is how strong the Golden Hammer gang truly is, if they have an agenda against my Edwin family or not, and how much I am going to get if I take them down."
She shrugged and said, "By the looks of things, the only thing you will earn is eight rank 4 divine flesh, and honestly, it isn't worth it."
Sir Kriss sighed when he heard that.
