People sitting in the Earth Stands had to bid themselves; there was no space separating these people, and they had to pay an extra two percent for every bid they made, to the auction house.
People in the Middle Stand had five parties sit in one room. They had to bid themselves, but except for those five parties, nobody could hear their voice and they didn't have to pay anything to the auction for their bid.
As for the Sky Stand: every party was sitting separately in different rooms, they didn't have to shout and could just use a rank 1 ka provided by the auction and they would get a twenty percent discount on what they bid.
As for Yang Zhai, he was with Yue Qing. Both of their faces were covered with rank 7 cloaks provided by the auction. These cloaks could hide the presence as well as block cultivation methods. If the cultivation method was of a higher rank, it could detect it and vibrate severely to inform the wearer.
People of the Sky Stand were provided with these cloaks two weeks prior by the auction house.
Yang Zhai had gotten this cloak from Yue Qing. They came together and walked into a room provided by the auction.
"I will be taking my leave now, dear guests." The worker bowed respectfully and left after showing them their room.
They entered the room.
This room had a wooden floor as well as beautiful intricate wooden engraving on the walls. In it were placed two chairs.
There was a large mirror on the wall that faced the auctioneer. This mirror was made of special material and was a one-way mirror.
"Tzu Yu, if you don't mind, can you tell me where to sit. As you are aware that I am unable to detect non-living things." Yue Qing requested.
Yang Zhai didn't mind. He then led her to one of two chairs.
She then moved her hand around to touch the arms of the chair before sitting down.
Yang Zhai sat on the chair beside her.
After waiting for a while, the auction began.
Before the auction began, a worker came to ask if they would like to sell something.
"This auction will involve five rounds. The first round would involve things of lesser value. I do not mean they would be ranked wise. In fact, the things that commonly appear in the world would be of the lowest rank. The last round would involve the ones that have never appeared or have gone extinct, and also the ones from history: the things only heard about in stories!" The auctioneer said, taking everyone's attention.
The curtains were lifted and a man appeared.
People were sitting on all four sides inside the People's Hall. This hall was called People's Hall because anyone could rent it for various purposes. However, the payment was extravagant.
"Let's begin the auction! The first item to appear is a set of rank 2 Blue Gems. It will for sure come in handy when helping your children cultivate! No limit, they can even be sold for only 1 low-grade essence stone." He said.
"Hundred Low-Grade!"

The auction continued and the set went for six thousand and two hundred mid-grade essence stones.

This sound came from Yang Zhai's side.
However, this price was normal for a rank 6 material.
