Chapter 16 - Seal the Promise

"Am I some joke to you?" Aaron snarled, his voice cracked because of his emotions. He swung his fist again, aiming for Kim Woo Jin's jaw.

But this time, Kim Woo Jin caught Aaron's fist midair. His grip was firm, but his expression was one of disbelief rather than anger.

"Who's getting engaged?" Kim Woo Jin asked in confusion.

"The audacity of this asshole," Aaron muttered, grabbing a fistful of Kim Woo Jin's hair and yanking him closer.

"You—after the kiss, you vanish to prepare for your engagement with that Yuna! You think I wouldn't find out?"

Kim Woo Jin froze; he tried to wrap Aaron's words.

Engagement? With Yuna? That didn't make any sense. Why would I ever get engaged to Yuna?

He thought, furrowing his brows. And yet, here was Aaron, clearly furious and throwing accusations.

But where was all of this even coming from? Why was Aaron so convinced he was getting engaged?

"Who told you that?" Kim Woo Jin finally asked.

"Does it matter who told me?" Aaron snapped.

"Or are you just planning to deny it? To hide it so you can keep playing with me?"

"Oh, I get it now. You're just messing with me, aren't you? That's what this is about. You're trying to make me your plaything, so you can break my heart later."

Kim Woo Jin opened his mouth to respond, but Aaron wasn't done yet.

"You think I'm stupid? That I'll just let you toy with me like this?" Aaron's hands trembled with anger.

"Mark my words, Kim Woo Jin, I'll kill you before that engagement happens."

For a moment, Kim Woo Jin just stared at Aaron. The frustration in Aaron's voice, the way his hands trembled—it wasn't just anger. It wasn't just hurt. It was jealousy.

The thought hit Kim Woo Jin like a bolt of lightning.

Aaron wasn't just upset about the engagement rumors. The very idea of Kim Woo Jin being with someone else—of someone else standing where he wanted to be—was driving Aaron mad.

In that moment, Kim Woo Jin saw it clearly. He wasn't alone in this. His feelings wasn't one-sided. Aaron felt the same way.

Kim Woo Jin's lips curved into a soft, almost disbelieving smile.

Without thinking, Kim Woo Jin pinned Aaron's hands and leaned in to steal a quick, teasing peck on Aaron's lips.

"You jerk! Let me go!" Aaron shouted, his eyes wide with both shock and rage.

Kim Woo Jin grinned and ignored Aaron; he leaned in again for another playful kiss. "You're so cute when you're jealous."

Aaron's face turned a deep shade of red. "Jealous? Who's jealous, you arrogant bastard?"

Still smiling, Kim Woo Jin finally decided to speak. "I don't know what you've heard, but there's no engagement."

Aaron froze. His mind stumbled over the words, trying to make sense of them. "What?"

Kim Woo Jin leaned closer, gently bumping his forehead against Aaron's. "I don't know who started that ridiculous rumor," he murmured, "But I'm glad they did. If they hadn't, I wouldn't have gotten to see this side of you."

"Liar!" Aaron snapped, "If there's no engagement, why is everyone on campus saying you and Yuna are a future couple? Even your childhood friend, Jung, told me how your families are close and want you two engaged! That she's your only sweetheart, and—"

Before Aaron could finish, Kim Woo Jin leaned forward and kissed him, effectively silencing his rant. Locking his eyes with Aaron Kim, Woo Jin broke the kiss to explain.

"Yuna is just my mother's friend's daughter. Nothing more. I didn't even know people were spreading those rumors, and honestly? I couldn't care less."

Aaron blinked, his skepticism still apparent, but he couldn't look away. "

We're not childhood friends," Kim Woo Jin continued; his voice was calm and clear.

"She's been to my house a few times because of her mom, but I've never been close to her."

As Kim Woo Jin's words sank in, something in Aaron's mind started to shift. The way Yuna always clung to Kim Woo Jin, the rumors, the comments about them being a couple—it was all Yuna's doing.

Aaron's shoulders, which had been tense with anger, slowly relaxed. The confusion that had clouded his thoughts began to lift, replaced by clarity.

But there was still one thing he couldn't let go of.

"Then," Aaron started, his voice calmer now, though still hesitant, "why did you disappear after saying you'd give me that second kiss?"

Kim Woo Jin's lips curved into a faint, teasing smile. His voice dropped lower, "Because after tasting your lips, I wouldn't have been able to stop myself."

Aaron blinked, his brain trying to catch up. "What does that even—"

Kim Woo Jin leaned closer, his lips brushing against Aaron's ear as he spoke in a whisper that was almost a purr.

"An alpha, especially one as dominant as I am, is no less than an animal in heat during rut. And if I had tasted those sweet lips of yours…"

He paused for a moment and continued with a seductive tone, "I would've fucked you until you fainted."

Thud.

Aaron froze, his mind blanked as the weight of Kim Woo Jin's words hit him.

His heart pounded in his chest, and suddenly, the air around him felt heavy. The scent of Kim Woo Jin's pheromones filled the room, warm and erotic, wrapping around Aaron like an invisible net.

The heat from Kim Woo Jin's hands seeped into Aaron's skin, making him hyperaware of every point of contact. Aaron's body stiffened as he felt a startling pressure against his lower back, and his instincts screamed at him to move.

"W-wait!" he stammered, trying to pull away.

But Kim Woo Jin's hands firmly wrapped around his waist, holding him in place.

"I wanted to see you so badly," Kim Woo Jin murmured, his voice raw with longing.

"My mind, my body, my heart… everything in me screamed to go to you. But I knew—" He paused, his breath warm against Aaron's lips.

"I knew that if I saw you, I wouldn't be able to stop myself."

Aaron's heart raced as a heat spread through his body.

He didn't just hear Kim Woo Jin's words—he felt them, his pheromones thick in the air, radiating raw desperation and need. It was impossible to ignore.

"So, you're saying you want me that badly?" Aaron asked in a low tone, his lips curled into a smile.

Kim Woo Jin rested his head on Aaron's shoulder, his voice barely above a whisper.

"Yes, I want you so badly. I want to mess with you. I want to see you cry… to hear your moan under me."

Aaron tilted his head slightly, locking eyes with Kim Woo Jin. Leaning closer, his lips brushed Kim Woo Jin's. In a steady, resolute voice, he whispered.

"Think carefully, Kim Woo Jin." Kim Woo Jin blinked, startled by the sudden seriousness in Aaron's tone.

"If you fuck me today, I won't let you go," Aaron said, his voice was firm but filled with resolve.

His gaze didn't waver as he added, "Even if you change your mind later or your family objects… If you take me today, you're mine forever."

Kim Woo Jin froze, Aaron's words hitting him with the force of a hurricane.

This wasn't just about desire—it was a declaration, Aaron's proposal of being with him forever.

Kim Woo Jin's lips curved into a smile. "Alright. If that's what you want… I'll be yours forever."

Kim Woo Jin's grip on Aaron's waist tightened as he whispered again, "I'm at my limit. Please… kiss me. Let me seal this promise. Let me be yours completely."

Aaron smiled softly; his lips met Kim Woo Jin's in a deep, fervent kiss—a kiss filled with both passion and possession. Pulling back just slightly, Aaron murmured against his lips, "You're mine, Kim Woo Jin. Only mine."
