Austere looks over to Oscar and says, "How are we even going to reach the test site now?!" he places his hand over his face and says, "Well, do you have any ideas, Oscar?"
Oscar says, "I thought you'd never ask" with a huge smile on his face and his right hand on his chest, heart honed with pride said "you know I'm the master of good ideas!" before Oscar could continue Austere cuts him off as he looks around and says " You know what never mind, I'm not going to risk it, and I know better then to feed your massive ego" while waving Oscar off as he sees something unfamiliar in the distance. Oscar yells at him, "HEY, THAT WAS ONE TIME!" Then, beginning to murmur while crossing his arms, "...and my ego is not big at all, it's not my fault I'm better," as he noticed Austere looking to the left suspiciously, but he thought his friend was just paranoid.
"If you're done? Are you going to help me find whatever caused this to happen, or not?" Austere said, knowing that Oscar will likely forget their main objective. Oscar immediately retorted, "HEY...I am helping!" while putting his hands on his hips. Austere rolls his eyes and says, "By standing there?" as he starts walking to the left of the false path, realization slowly sinking in. Austere stopped dead in his tracks, then quickly turned around and yelled, "OSCAR GET DOWN NOW!" as he quickly lay down on the ground.
Oscar heard the desperation in Austere's voice and decided to listen for once and dropped to the floor, all while yelling, "WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING!" Oscar looks around frantically to try to comprehend what was about to occur; suddenly, a large red beam passes above him and his friend, their eyes widening in slight horror.
"Damn I wanted to take one of them out atleast" both boys with anticipation burinig in their hearts heard from one of the bushes in front of Austere. Then the bush started to shift into a humanoid form the group of kids could hear the audible cracks and creaks of the leaves and braches turning into flesh and bone something the duo did not think was even possible, After the bush finished the transformation, it looked like a tall, lanky man with deep green hair and dark brown eyes as a few vines crawed up his legs up to his neck on top of his simple wears which were a simple leather tuinc and short pants. "well that just makes my job harder" the stranger sighed.
Austere stared in shock at what was once a bush, now a person. Oscar stared for a few seconds with wide eyes and yelled, "WHAT THE HECK!!!" In utter disbelief then muttered with his arms crossed and one hand on his chin, "Wait, if he's like twice my size in tallness, then how tall will you have to be to be a tree person?" Austere, slightly turned his head with a disappointed scowl and said, "What the hell are you talking about?" Then a familiar voice hit their ears. A girl around their age, who had dark brown hair with platinum blond roots and highlights, yelled, "I found you two, do you know how much trouble you caused!!" while putting her hands on her hips and said "you know it's rude to ignore someone, especially when their trying to tell you off" Oscar about to open his mouth got cut off by the bush man firing a red beam of death that blast by both them pasting through trees leaving them untounded but ahnilating a building behide the trees. The bushman sarcastically said, "Did you really forget about me this quickly? Wow, I'm so hurt.", while rolling his eyes bitterly.
The girl realized that there was a tall man with, in her opinion, too many plants on him, standing in front of the black haired boy, then she said, "Hey emo boy, who is that and what is your name and the mutts name you owe me that much" as she gets in a fighting stance. Oscar yelled "I'm not a mutt and I'm not telling" wanting to puch something while Austere rolls his eyes at the comment he said, "Well, I guess you also know he is our enemy too, and I'm not an emo...I will tell you my name after you say yours" while adopting his own fighting stance, then he said "you know common courtesy and all that" the girl growled in frustration then said "my name is Stella, don't forget it!" as the the bush man started getting mad and created multiple red light balls in the sky.
Oscar said while pointing up to the sky where the red lights were, then said, "Hey guys, look up!" The other two, after hearing that, decided to listen and looked up, seeing the 6 red lights. Stella became a bit more panicked at what she was looking at while Austere started glaring harder at the sky. Stella thought of something and said, "Tell me your names and I will protect you," as lightning surrounded her legs Then, Austere raised his hand then said, "I don't need it, but what we do need to do is run because your lightning won't stop those red lasers of death" the bush man said "you know I won't let you off that easy" Oscar yelled "RUN FOR YOUR LIFE" as he grabbed Stella hand and started running while Austere threw dirt in the bush mans eyes running like hell to the right side of the road.
The bush man smirked, seeing the 3 kids run uselessly as he said, "Kid number 4, get out of the ground and go. I will count to 10, and don't worry, I won't kill any of you." as the ground closest to the missing path started to rise as it transformed into a boy with dark brown hair, same color eyes, and a near unreadable expression that was around the same age as the other three kids so the first thing he does is force a wall to sprout from the ground and ran knowing if he stayed he would be hospitalized for weeks.
