"Are the six factions trying to start a war?"
That was what Emperor Kalos said at the beginning of this meeting.
Since meeting with Lin Fan last time, Emperor Kalos had completely changed.
He was no longer the listless person that he was before. He actually started taking on the responsibilities that he had in the capital and started moving the royal guards to a certain extent.
Though the royal guards wouldn't actually listen to him fully, they would at least do a few things to keep up the charade.
The royal guards really couldn't help wondering what had happened to Emperor Kalos that he would start acting this way, but it wasn't as if there was anything that they could figure out.
The conversation that he had with Lin Fan was kept completely secret, so it wasn't as if there was anyone that knew that this was what motivated him.
Only the royal guards couldn't help feeling bitter because this meant more work for them.
