Chapter 16 - CIVILIZATION

Hale was now full of energy, he now felt like he was stronger then ever before, and he was right.

Although his stats didn't increase much,his body was getting stronger at an unimaginable rate, now that he was getting his confidence back he thought that it was best to leave this place right now.

But he didn't know how to tho, all he could see in the surrounding was that he was inside some kind of mountain.

Hoping of getting lucky, Hale started walking around the cave, now that he had enough stamina, he couldn't get tired easily and could continue to walk for much longer, and because the cave had a high density of mana he didn't need to eat food or drink water.

But before leaving Hale quickly gulped a huge amount of water from the lake, even though he knew he didn't need it, it always cleared his mind and the water was fresh

After having his throat soaked he started to walk the opposite direction of the cave, since the cave was near the wall he knew that it was a dead end so his best bet was to continue in the opposite direction.

While he was walking for about 2 hours his head was starting to ache, his limit of the {EYE OF THE FATHER} had increased to two hours but he had to continuously use it to navigate in this darkness.

Hale was now having second thoughts, if he ran back now he could easily get there in half an hour, but he could also be close to the exit.

Just as he was about to turn around, he quickly saw a yellow light glowing at the corner of his eyes, knowing that it was a monster and a weak one at that because it didn't pose any threat to him, he quickly started running towards it.

Upon arriving Hale now came face to face with what looked like an...Ogre?

That's what he his first thoughts were, the ogre or the whatever the monster was , it was at least 9 feet tall, it was ripped, and had huge muscles and was only wearing a trouser.

Hale quickly ran towards it and jumped with all his might, to his surprise he was now 10 feet in the air, towering over the monster. He quickly grabbed his thoughts and using his momentum he took the monster by surprise by kneeing him on the face.

The monster was alerted that he was in danger but his reaction was too slow as Hale had already landed a proper hit to it's nose shattering his skull in an instant

After landing on the ground with a superhero pose, Hale quickly got up and started to run dirt on his knees hoping to get the flesh stuck to it to get off

Hale now saw that his assumption of the monster was correct and that it was an ogre. Plus now he had risen by two levels and had 35 SP points.

These were extra points which he would get whenever he worked out in the earth by completing the daily quest

But ever since coming to this world, those daily quests had disappeared and he was now getting these sp points whenever he leveled up so he was now saving them for an emergency

Now back to the topic at hand, Hale looked at the ogres body and realized that he was following what looked to be like a trail, seeing the ogre's strength, Hale was confident that he could wipe out there entire tribe, but not if they numbered in hundreds.

He now started following the trail the ogre was going through, after some time had passed, he quickly started seeing lights coming from afar.

Seeing the sighs of civilization Hale was overjoyed and started running at full speed not caring that he was ripping the ground on his way there.

But soon his excitement turned into nothing but disappointment as he realized that the village or the tribe he had arrived upon was that of ogres.

Seeing children's going around the village and having a good time, Hale didn't know what to do, he was feeling conflicted,

While Hale was thinking suddenly an idea appeared in his head,

Hale quickly got near a house and jumped on the roof softly landing on it and started to watch the ogre's life style, to everyone else it might looked strange but Hale was using one of his divine abilities {UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE} which allowed him to learn any language if he stayed near the people speaking it, so that's what he was doing, he was eavesdropping on the ogres daily life, understanding the language.

After some time had passed, Hale got and made his way towards the center of the village through the roofs

Hale jumped off the roof he was running on and landed at the center of the village creating a 15 meters wide crater and making dust and debri flying everywhere.

"Hello there fine people , would you give me some time of your day"

Hale announced with a big smug face to the ogres of the village
