Two cases may not meet the standard for publishing in journals, lacking statistical significance, but publishing a case study is still good.
The experimental team began collecting data to prepare for publishing a case study in their own journal. Using viruses to treat tumors is not unprecedented, but this usually involves using viruses to carry antigens to mark tumors, enabling the body's immune system to recognize the virus-tagged tumor cells as enemies and attack them, achieving the goal of eliminating tumor cells. Essentially, this is just immunotherapy, where the virus of plays an entirely marking role throughout the treatment.
In contrast, Yang Ping's method is entirely different. In his treatment, the virus serves as a transport mechanism, while the specific tasks of marking, penetration, and attack are accomplished by modules carried by the virus, resembling precision-guided missiles.
