Issho faced Aim, and Xanxus faced Axe!
Two of the highest-ranking members of the Vongola Family were up against two CP0 officers. Such battles are rare, considering they involve four admiral-level fighters. Very few forces in the world can deploy such strength.
For example, the Whitebeard and Red-Haired Pirates have only two admiral-level fighters. Whitebeard's side has Whitebeard himself and First Division Commander Marco. On Red-Haired's side is Shanks, who recently promoted admiral-level Beckman.
"Boom! Boom! Boom!"
Explosions echoed repeatedly as the ground around the Shogun's mansion shattered due to the battles between these four. The Varia members guarding the perimeter had to retreat to constantly avoid being caught in the crossfire. The destructive power of their leaders' battles increased, and staying too close meant risking death or serious injury.
"Has anyone contacted additional reinforcements? This can't go on. Even though Issho has the upper hand, Xanxus is struggling. If Kaido's ice seal breaks due to the battle, it will be disastrous."
One of the elite Varia members, who was well-equipped with Dying Will Pills and keenly understood the situation, voiced his concerns.
"Lord Spade is on his way with Sabo. They were training near Dragon Beard Island, but without a warship, it will take some time to reach Wano Country," another member responsible for communication replied. "Captain Squalo is also returning, but he's farther away. With the warship's speed, he should arrive simultaneously with Lord Spade. Other reinforcements are too far away and would take too long to get here."
Wano Country's distance from Vongola's main base, Second Island, makes timely reinforcements challenging. Although confident in Varia's strength, Jotaro didn't anticipate the World Government sending two CP0 officers to free Kaido, creating trouble for their family.
Their only hope is that Issho and Xanxus can hold off these enemies until Spade arrives. As Vongola's Guardian of the Mist, Spade's strength is formidable. Although he hasn't shown his hand much since returning to the family, the title of "Guardian" itself is a testament to his power. Every guardian of the family is known to possess admiral-level strength.
"Let's hope Lord Spade arrives quickly. Otherwise, this battle might not end well. I have a bad feeling about this."
The elite member's brow furrowed as he kept his eyes on the battlefield. "Can you contact Lord Spade again? Tell him the situation is urgent and to arrive as soon as possible."
"Understood. I'll contact him right away," the communications member replied, taking out a Den Den Mushi to call Spade.
"Boom!"
At that moment, a thunderous explosion shook the ground as another meteor fell from the sky, crashing down hard. Aim used Tempest Kick to slice through the meteor, standing amidst the flames, glaring at Issho. Internally, Aim was fuming, cursing his luck to have encountered such a troublesome opponent. Against anyone else, he could have easily won!
He glanced at Axe, contemplating switching opponents, but it seemed unlikely. Axe was fully engaged in his battle, with no time to assist.
Luckily, Aim couldn't switch, as encountering Xanxus with his ultra-instinct would be an even greater nightmare.
On a small boat at sea.
Holding a Den Den Mushi, Spade's expression darkened. "Understood. I'll get there as fast as I can. Tell Xanxus that even if they can't win, they must ensure the enemy stays in Wano. Anyone who dares to attack our family will not be forgiven!"
Spade despised those who threatened the Vongola Family's existence. With Elina revived, he was even more determined to protect the family that gave them a home: any enemy, no matter who, would not be tolerated.
The Varia member sighed internally, knowing he couldn't relay this message directly to Xanxus. Doing so would likely get him killed by his leader before the enemy could.
"I understand, Lord Spade!" he replied, despite his hesitation in delivering the message.
After hanging up, Spade looked toward Wano with a resolute expression. "Sabo, I have to go ahead. You continue sailing towards Wano."
"Is it that urgent?" Sabo asked, surprised.
"From the report, it sounds like Xanxus is struggling. As a family guardian, I can't just stroll over slowly," Spade replied.
Spade ignited his Dying Will Flames with those words and took to the sky, speeding towards Wano. "I'll see you there!" he called back.
