"Mnhh… just a little…" she whispered, her voice hoarse with sleep as she reached out, her small fingers clutching his wrist and pulling his hand against her cheek for warmth.
"I just checked on the boys… they are awake now," he spoke softly as he leaned down to kiss her lips gently. Her lips were soft and warm, tasting faintly sweet like her natural morning scent.
He deepened the kiss slightly, nibbling her lower lip before pulling away, seeing her cheeks flush pink from his morning affection, he enjoyed teasing her and seeing her shying away, "You look so beautiful like this…" he whispered against her lips.
She chuckled tiredly, burying her face into his palm to hide her blushing cheeks, "Stop… I must look horrible right now…"
"You could never look horrible in my eyes," he replied firmly, before trailing his fingers down her cheek to her neck, feeling her pulse quicken under his touch.
