Mingle is sipping tea, in the tavern owned by him. As the person in front of him is the main lead in this historical romance novel "Female Fatale Conquers Ice Cold Prince" who is formally named Bing Hua.
Mingle is an extra, who owns a tavern, but in truth, he plays a bigger part—which isn't exotically written within the novel.
"Bing Hua." Mingle spoke, "You don't have to drink tea often with me."
Bing Hua's eyes darted, "You the only one who would dare shout my name so openly like this, has something happened?"
"No." Mingle remarked, "Nothing that should be happening now, but suddenly feel like…I wouldn't be living for much longer."
As the roof suddenly broke down, a loud thud was heard, a slight wine came, and the tavern roof was broken, Mingle stood up, "Girl, you broke my roof."
The person being addressed breathed heavily while realizing what had happened, "If you don't have any money, you'll have to work here to pay it off."
She stood up, wobbling, "I understood."
This was the female lead, named Bai Lianhua. How fitting to her namesakes, Mingle jumped back up to the second floor, "What did you mean by you wouldn't be living any longer?"
"It's just a feeling." Mingle remarked, "Nothing more."
Bai Lianhua felt distressed, she was the young miss of the Bai family, despite her rather pitiful clothing and slightly messy self if wasn't for the fact she ended up getting robbed, she wouldn't have bothered with paying for the damage to the tavern or deal with the owner, to begin with. A useless little common man in her eyes, so blind to not see her real self.
Bing Hua waved his fan, "You're letting her work here? Aren't you Adair's background will cause problems for you?"
Mingle sighed, "I don't worry about those sorts of things, I simply live my life—as I saw them, if nothing else, I hope my tavern can be fixed and settled with ease."
For Bing Hua himself, he always felt like ever since meeting Mingle, he could be at ease without worrying about status and common etiquette usually expected of those around him. Mingle for a tavern owner, suddenly became Bing Hua's safe zone, and for someone who never expected much from people, it was a wonder as well.
"Her name, it's really fitting." Mingle replied, "Just like yours."
