"What about Lydia?"
When Corey asked this question, he had been expecting to hear something casual like she chose to live as a commoner in the capital or something that was similar to what he heard about Kiefer, Selene, and Willow- the Terror Queen.
However, when he saw Pamela's solemn expression along with her long silence, he knew that something was wrong.
"What's wrong?" He asked with a frown.
Pamela stared into his eyes for a few seconds, and then she released a soft sigh.
"She's gone."
Corey's frown deepened, "Gone? She died?"
"No," Pamela shook her head, "She left by herself."
This time around, Corey had a baffled expression.
"She left? Why? And why are you making it seem like it's a big deal?"
Pamela held the bridge in between her eyes, and released another sigh.
"A year after we escaped the island of the Black Sea, she suddenly said that she wanted to leave."
"I asked her why, and she told me in confidence what happened between the two of you."
