Chapter 291 - Chapter 291 Ryan vs. Probability

In the ethereal space of the Hokage Chat Group, where powerful shinobi from across time and realities gathered, tension had given way to absolute chaos.

The revelation had dropped like a boulder into a still lake.

Ryan had pulled another special prize.

"WHAT?!"

The synchronized outcry of several Kage-level shinobi nearly shattered the void. Even Madara, who prided himself on unshakable composure, was visibly thrown off, his Sharingan spinning as if trying to dissect the absurdity of what had just happened.

"This has to be rigged," Tobirama muttered, arms crossed, his sharp red eyes scrutinizing Ryan like a suspicious researcher examining a volatile experiment. "There's no logical probability for this."

Hashirama, ever the excitable one, let out a boisterous laugh. "Ryan, boy! Tell the truth!" He leaned in, grinning like a man who had just found the most amusing puzzle of his life. "How in the world did you pull this off?"

Ryan, who had been enjoying the moment, suddenly felt the weight of every single Hokage's gaze.

Obito let out an exaggerated sigh, arms folded. "Luck like this shouldn't even exist. Even with Kamui, I can't warp reality this hard."

Sasuke merely crossed his arms and scoffed. "Tch. Must be some kind of trick."

Naruto, meanwhile, was practically bouncing in place. "Oi, oi, oi! Maybe there's some kind of hidden mechanic for this? Ryan, do you, like, click the button in a special way?"

The comment might have been a joke—until Tsunade's eyes gleamed with dangerous excitement.

"Wait… That actually makes sense," she muttered, rubbing her chin.

Ryan blinked. "Huh?"

Tsunade whirled on him, her gambler instincts kicking into overdrive. "Listen here, brat! Was there a specific time you pressed the button? A pattern? Did you wait three seconds before clicking?! Maybe it's about the phase of the moon—"

"Tsunade…" Minato, ever the voice of reason, sighed, rubbing the bridge of his nose. "Please don't overthink this."

"No, no, I need to know!" Tsunade insisted, her voice bordering on manic. "This could be the key to controlling fate itself!"

Madara, who had been watching the entire exchange with a raised brow, finally sighed. "Ridiculous. Relying on chance? I prefer power that's earned, not gifted by some arbitrary force."

Ryan, sweating under the scrutiny, held up his hands. "Look, I don't know what to tell you guys! I just—"

"Pressed the button and won," Kakashi finished for him, eyeing Ryan with a hint of amusement. "Twice."

A beat of silence followed.

Then, Minato let out a chuckle. "Well, I have to admit that is impressive."

Hashirama clapped a hand on Ryan's shoulder. "Maybe the chat group just sees something in you, huh?"

"Or it's secretly your sugar daddy," Obito muttered.

Ryan groaned, running a hand down his face. "You guys are impossible."

"Yeah, yeah, whatever," Naruto said, waving a hand. "More importantly—what did you get this time?!"

The room immediately quieted.

All eyes were back on Ryan.

Tension crackled in the air, curiosity gripping every shinobi present.

With a slow breath, Ryan opened his reward.

And in the next instant—

The chat group nearly exploded.

As for Ryan, he could only stand there, completely speechless.

He had no idea how it happened. Not even a clue.

This time, Ryan had drawn yet another special prize.

A special prize—something he had only ever seen twice since the chat group began. To be honest, the probability of pulling one was downright ridiculous. Most people, even at their luckiest, could only hope to win a first prize. That alone was considered a once-in-a-lifetime stroke of fortune.

Yet here he was.

Two consecutive special prizes.

Ryan couldn't help but feel a little uneasy. Was this even fair? Had he somehow cheated without realizing it? Or was it because the chat group itself belonged to him, subtly rigging the results in his favor? He had no answers, and honestly, there was no point in overthinking it. Instead, he turned his full attention to the prize in front of him.

The moment Ryan saw what he had received, his breath caught in his throat.

At first glance, the other Hokages didn't seem to notice anything remarkable about the reward. To them, it was just another prize. But to Ryan—someone who knew exactly what this was—its mere existence was more shocking than winning a special prize itself.

Ultraman's Defensive Ability.

Ryan's hands trembled slightly.

He hadn't known that such a thing existed in the chat group store. Ultraman? Was this some kind of joke?

A Giant of Light. A Superman of the Cosmos.

No matter which Ultraman you picked, their strength was absurdly overwhelming. Even after all the buffs and rewards the Hokages had received, there was no way any of them had reached this level. If anyone even came close, it was Ryan himself.

And that wasn't an exaggeration.

Ultraman's power was on an entirely different scale.

In the Naruto world, a fully evolved Mangekyō Sharingan, with its ultimate technique—Susanoo—stood at the very peak of shinobi abilities. It was an absolute power, a force to be reckoned with.

But to Ultraman?

That was just a starting point.

A single Ultraman, even in its base form, towered over 50 meters. Some could exceed 100 meters, and under special conditions, they could grow even larger, limitlessly so. There were even those with no size restrictions at all.

And that was just their physical stature.

Ultraman's natural durability was beyond comprehension. Their very organs housed supernatural abilities, making them resilient on a godlike level. A shinobi could spend their entire life honing their body, developing unbreakable defenses, and still never come close. Ultraman was simply born like this.

A Susanoo-level body—from birth.

And this was just one of their abilities.

Ultraman's power went beyond mere durability. Their world wasn't just filled with strong individuals—it was a playground of beings who could casually destroy planets, warp dimensions, and manipulate cosmic forces with a flick of their wrist.

Compared to them, the shinobi world... felt minuscule.

Ryan exhaled slowly, trying to process what this meant. He hadn't even considered this possibility before.

At this stage, Ryan had only just begun to access elements from the Ultraman world.

After all, up until now, the most powerful world he had come into contact with was only the first half of the Dragon Ball universe—and even that wasn't the peak of Dragon Ball's power. It was merely the early stages, before things spiraled into unimaginable realms of strength.

And yet, even in that world, simply possessing a Saiyan physique allowed him to grow at an absurd, almost cheat-like rate. His power had been skyrocketing, evolving constantly.

It was clear now—when comparing different worlds—the gap in strength was astronomical.

Ryan silently speculated, "I don't know… just how powerful is the Ultraman world? It's probably at least a third-tier world—yeah, that seems very likely!"

Based on the information he had gathered so far, the chat group categorized worlds into different tiers.

A second-tier world typically ranged between 1,000 and 10,000 points in strength. Given what he knew about Ultraman, breaking through that threshold shouldn't be a problem at all.

In fact, Ryan had a gut feeling.

The Ultraman universe wasn't just third-tier—it was far beyond that.

It was likely a fourth-tier world, possibly even a fifth-tier.

A world at that level was beyond anything he had encountered. He couldn't even begin to estimate its full power. No one in the chat group had ever set foot in such a place, meaning there was no frame of reference—just endless speculation.

How powerful was a fifth-tier world, really?

Even Ryan didn't know. He could only make educated guesses based on the limited information he had.

After all, the Ultraman universe housed beings that defied logic itself. Ultraman King, an ancient and godlike entity, was said to be immortal, capable of bending reality at will. Then there was Ultraman Noa, an existence beyond time and space, whose power dwarfed even legendary warriors. If those weren't enough, there were beings like Ultraman Legend, Absolute Tartarus, and the fallen tyrant Belial, all possessing abilities that made even the strongest shinobi look insignificant.

Compared to such beings, how could he—or anyone in the chat group—possibly measure their strength?

And yet, as he turned his gaze back to the reward he had just received, he felt a wave of pure shock wash over him.

Even now, while the others continued their discussions, he remained silent—his mind racing.

Because this reward…

It was simply too overwhelming.

Too shocking.
