I moved to the door and I threw it open. I saw Zint inside. She turned around and looked at me. "It's about time for you to come back. I was waiting for you, you know."
I smiled as Paun walked in behind me. "I know."
She glanced past Paun as if expecting someone else as well. "Where is Tizi?"
I sighed. "She is dead. She tried to kill me."
Her eyes widened and she began to smile, but she quickly tried to hide that. She tried to act upset. "Oh man, I can't believe she would betray you. That does mean that I am the only surviving tribe member, doesn't it? You trust me, don't you?"
I shook my head. "I don't, I'm sorry. I am a god now. I will not have anyone betray me. I will make you my soul slave, but I will give you free will to do whatever you want that would not harm me."
