Time passed, and half a month later, at Synapse, in the Wind King Castle on the central cloud island.
"Do you feel it?" Muria first glanced at the two Seraphim beside him, then looked towards the ground.
"Yes!" Both Mikaela and Ilvester sensed it. However, standing below, the ancient green dragon Fiona, the Flame Dragon Princess Sephilia, and several Frost Giant leaders showed no reaction.
Hearing Muria's question, these creatures looked confused. Even though they didn't sense anything, seeing Muria's serious expression as he looked down, they followed his gaze. The two Seraphim were also looking down, so they followed suit.
But there was nothing on the ground, it was clean. Fiona and the others became even more puzzled, wondering what Muria and the two divine descendants were staring at.
Quickly, Fiona was the first to react. She noticed that Muria and the two other powerful beings had divine light in their eyes, albeit restrained and barely noticeable.
If one ignored the ground and followed Muria's gaze infinitely, Fiona found that he seemed to be looking at the Frost Giant City below.
...
"Is this the city the Titans helped the Frost Giants build? The order he claims, the future he wants for the Frost Giants, is this it?"
In the city built to the ten-meter scale of the Frost Giants, an ordinary-looking female Frost Giant walked around, carefully observing everything. She had come here specifically to see what this Titan was up to and what he intended to achieve through the Frost Giants.
"What does he want to do through the Frost Giants?" The seemingly ordinary female Frost Giant looked puzzled. "Spending time, resources, and risking conflict with the gods to support the Frost Giants—what's in it for him?"
Ding, ding, ding—
A rapid bell rang out suddenly. The female Frost Giant looked up and found herself in front of a large complex. At the entrance, she saw a group of female Frost Giants chatting and glancing towards the building.
"What are they waiting for?" The entity disguised as a female Frost Giant felt a surge of curiosity. She quickly understood what the female giants were waiting for.
With the bell ringing, young Frost Giants holding books came rushing out, running joyfully towards the entrance.
"Mom!" "Mommy!" ...
The young Frost Giants called out to their mothers. After finding their mothers, they turned back and respectfully saluted the elegant white-skinned giants standing at the entrance.
"Goodbye, teacher!" "See you this afternoon, teacher!" ...
After politely saluting, the young Frost Giants took their mothers' hands and hopped home.
The entity with the appearance of a female Frost Giant had golden divine light flash in her eyes. She looked at one of the white-skinned giants. Such a giant was a striking presence in this Frost Giant city.
"Cloud Giants! Teachers!"
Seeming to understand something, the entity looked up. On the door, she saw the engraved words—Frost First Experimental Primary School.
"Experimental? Primary school?" She showed a hint of surprise. "Is the Titan experimenting on Frost Giant children? Primary school? A place like an academy? Specifically teaching young Frost Giants? It seems so."
"These Cloud Giants must be teaching the young Frost Giants, which is why they are so respected. The Frost Giant children learning to respect their teachers signifies they are starting to respect knowledge. This is a huge step forward."
Seeing such a scene, the entity couldn't help but sigh. She had seen many differences in this Frost Giant city, but this scene was especially shocking because it had the potential to change a race. Knowledge changes destiny, and it can alter the future of a race.
"Are you here to pick up a child too?" A gentle voice pulled the female Frost Giant out of her thoughts.
"No, I'm just passing by," the entity replied softly, looking at the Cloud Giant in what seemed like a teacher's uniform.
"In that case, please leave immediately. This is not a place to loiter. Don't interfere with the parents picking up their children." Though his tone remained gentle, the Cloud Giant teacher was firm in expelling her.
"Okay, I'll leave right away." Despite being expelled, the entity felt no resentment and turned to leave. She was just an ordinary Frost Giant at the moment.
She didn't see the Cloud Giant activating a diamond-shaped crystal the moment she turned away. Almost simultaneously, a corresponding reaction occurred in Synapse, with blinding red light illuminating the building.
"This Titan's ambition is enormous. The current Frost Giants can't meet his requirements, so he educates them extensively, forcibly improving their quality." Thoughts flickered in the female Frost Giant's eyes.
The entity wandered through the city, witnessing more astonishing sights.
Brilliantly glowing magical factories, spewing crystal dust day and night; standardized steel weapons inscribed with simple runes, produced endlessly by magical machines. This was the power of magical industrial civilization, crushing the productivity of primitive handcraft.
At the city's center stood a grand library, the largest building. Though few Frost Giants entered, some did. Guided deliberately, the Frost Giants had begun learning knowledge on their own.
"What a hassle, discovered so quickly. I wanted to see the cloud island above, but it seems there's no chance now!" The female Frost Giant suddenly stopped on a clothing street.
Frost Giants on the street rapidly vanished, and the shopkeepers and staff disappeared silently. The street soon became deserted.
"They noticed something was wrong, but they still don't know what I am?" The female Frost Giant sighed at the empty street. "Otherwise, they wouldn't have sent such ants."
"Big words, Captain, shall we fire a shot and see if she can still stand there talking nonsense after?" A Cloud Giant in light black armor appeared on a rooftop, holding a small, lightweight magic cannon.
"Behave yourself!" A larger Cloud Giant materialized on the opposite rooftop, glaring at his subordinate before looking at the female Frost Giant in the street center, now surrounded by twelve magic cannons.
"State your origin and purpose, unknown entity! Otherwise, don't blame us for being rude."
"..."
The female Frost Giant ignored the ants, raising her hand to—
The Cloud Giant captain sensed danger and was about to order an attack but found himself unable to move. A strong sense of impending death overwhelmed him.
As the female Frost Giant was about to close her hand, a brilliant sword light descended from the sky, severing her arm at the root.
"Ignorant creature!" Cold, indifferent words echoed as frost-blue blood spurted out. "Who gave you the courage to act on my territory?"
