Sienna Johnson always insisted on showering after making love. But this time, she didn't immediately rush to the bathroom. Instead, she lay there, eyes closed, still in the same position, as if asleep.
Adrian Desmond, however, preferred falling asleep with the scent of each other lingering on them. Extending one long arm, he pulled her into his embrace and whispered in a deep voice,
"Mai, I won't indulge you anymore!"
Like her insistence on showering after making love, for instance.
Or...
"If you dare to disobey me in the future, I'll break your legs!" he threatened through gritted teeth, pausing for a moment before continuing, "Or... I'll lock you up in the snake house..."
Sienna shivered slightly, and Adrian felt it.
"I know you're scared... but that's good. Fear will make you remember. You won't run away again!"
