Chapter 235 - Matchmaker Rodney

Chapter 235: Matchmaker Rodney

"Hello, Mr. Rodney, welcome to my café. What would you like to drink? It's on the house," Brulee greeted with a lovely smile, which left Sanji in awe and resulted in him chuckling like a love-struck teenager. "Miss Brulee, you're truly adorable, hehe…"

Hearing this, Brulee blushed and covered her face. "Mr. Sanji, really, you can't say such things…"

Rodney chuckled and said, "Just bring me a cup of coffee, and Sanji, please assist."

"Of course!" Surprisingly, Sanji obediently agreed and approached Jalette. With impeccable manners, he asked, "My dear lady, what would you like to drink? I can make anything you desire."

"Brulee, as usual," Jalette replied, paying no attention to Sanji. She found him too frivolous and had reservations about him being around Brulee.

"Rodney, who is this…" Jiraiya sized up Jalette. Truth be told, the quality of beauty in this world was quite polarized. Some were exceptionally beautiful, while others were extraordinarily plain.

"This is Miss Jalette, Brulee's sister. Sanji, remember to assist Miss Brulee," Rodney introduced.

"No problem," Sanji replied, his eyes still heart-shaped. He trailed behind Brulee, causing Jalette to furrow her brows. Could this frivolous man really be trusted to protect her sister?

Rodney sat down in a chair and said with a smile, "You can rest easy; despite appearances, Sanji respects women greatly. When it comes to respecting women, there are few who can match him."

Sanji was, after all, a chivalrous man, though his gallant image often masked his true self.

"Is that so?"

"That girl is from the Three-Eyed Tribe, right?" Rodney smiled and asked. Even though Brulee concealed her third eye with bangs, Rodney had seen it. That's why he'd brought Sanji and the others here.

It couldn't be helped; he was shipping this couple hard. It didn't matter who was involved; this was the only way!

Jalette was startled. Her sister's third eye had made her the target of bullying from a young age. That's why she was so protective of her. Despite the rumors of the Three-Eyed Tribe's special abilities, Brulee hadn't awakened hers yet.

What did he want?

"Don't worry; I have no interest in that little girl," Rodney said with a smile. "I'm just arranging a boyfriend for her."

Jalette: ???

Jiraiya: ???

Lester: ???

They couldn't figure out what Rodney's thought process was. However, Brulee and Sanji had returned from the bar by then. Rodney, with the help of a tiny ninja technique, created a small puddle under Brulee's feet without her noticing.

"Oh no!" Brulee slipped on the puddle and was about to fall.

"Miss Brulee!"

Just in the nick of time, Sanji, with a lightning-fast move, held her in his arms.

Blushing furiously, Brulee knelt down. She could feel her third eye trembling. She hadn't expected anyone to praise her; she'd always thought of herself as a monster because of it.

"Brulee!"

"Miss Brulee!" Sanji handed the coffee to Lester, who smoothly accepted it. He had been about to make a move.

"Thank you," Brulee whispered to Sanji, her face still red. At that moment, a gust of wind blew into the café, pushing aside her bangs and revealing her third eye. She gasped in shock. It wasn't the reaction she expected. "How beautiful your eyes are!"

How… beautiful were her eyes?

Had she misheard?

Wasn't she a monster with three eyes?

Didn't he find her ugly?

Brulee wondered if her ears were playing tricks on her. She asked hesitantly, "Mr. Sanji… do you not find… me… ugly?"

"Sorry, I got a bit carried away. But, Brulee, there really is nothing ugly about you," Sanji said, causing Brulee's heart to race.

Dum-dum-dum-dum!

Everyone in the room could hear the rhythm of her heart. Jalette wondered, "Could it be that Brulee…"

"Is she…?"

Blushing deeply, Brulee knelt down and asked softly, "Mr. Sanji, do you also… find me… handsome?"

"Thank you."

The two of them were surrounded by pink bubbles. Rodney couldn't help but smile and sipped his coffee. "We'll be staying here for a few days. Sanji, you can help Brulee during this time. I'll come find you on the day we depart."

"Please go ahead." Sanji's perverted nature had completely emerged, and he was lost in the tender moment.

Jalette looked at her sister, her expression filled with complexity. Was she… falling in love?

Not understanding love herself, she could only speculate about her sister's feelings. She had no idea what this man, Rodney, was planning.

"Ooh la la, this is youth!" Asuma, the man with white hair, commented as he sipped his coffee, watching Sanji and Brulee. He let out a sigh of admiration.

"Captain, if you want, you can find a woman you like. I'll support you," Rodney said, genuinely valuing his cook. He would be very careful about his lifelong commitment.

Shaking his head, Asuma replied, "Captain, my father told me that women can affect the taste of my cooking, so I won't easily get involved with them."

Rodney: ???

Wasn't his father's advice a bit different?

This guy was destined to be single for life, it seemed.

Well, if he couldn't find a girlfriend by the time he turned thirty, Rodney would probably have to arrange one for him...
