With some force the sword was pulled out of the dead hunter, the man holding it going down on his knees, coughing out blood as well,one hand on his stomach from where blood seeped out constantly.
Around the cloaked figure on his knees, four bodies were lying, all of them dead.
"Ha... I'm still not calm enough when it comes to such moments, I could have avoided this wound!"
Muttered the cloaked figure while panting, some regret and annoyance in his brown eyes, he still needed to improve a lot.
He couldn't maintain his calm when he saw the bounty hunter about to kill her, rather than teleporting her away or the bounty hunter, he put himself in danger.
The wound he received thankfully was not too fatal, if the enemy had pierced his heart, even with his medical capabilities, death was certain.
"Well~ what's done can't be undone, time to get out of here!"

But Naoki didn't sulk too long on what happened, with some difficulty standing up and disappearing from the spot, there were some variables but he had achieved his main objective, now it was time to wait.

On the floor on futon lay four people with red hair, pale faced and unconscious, next to them standing a group of people around seven.
"I still can't believe they are alive!"

Looking at the unconscious red haired people on the ground everyone had shocked looks, Jiraiya couldn't help but share his thoughts out again, Orochimaru who prefers staying silent also couldn't help himself.
"All we can do is wait for them to wake up and ask about it, thinking more about this won't lead to anything!"
Said Kagami who was bandaged quite a bit, his face still looking pale, the recovery from an all out battle against Kakuzu not so easy.
Everyone nodded and sat at the side, resting and waiting for them to wake up.
Just a few hours ago, Tsunade and the rest after the enemy they were fighting disappeared suddenly regrouped with Kagami who they found barely standing and looking exhausted.
The emergency treatment of Kagami was performed by Tsunade on the spot, giving him enough stamina to at least travel to there destination.
But on the way, they found signs of an all out battle which led to the people they were on the mission to escort back to konoha.
But the way they were found out bamboozled everyone, three people cut in two and one intact.
The people they were supposed to escort were dead before there eyes until Tsunade did a little check up and told something that made there hair stand up.
The cleaved people before them are still alive, and the moment they placed both parts of body together, they joined like were never seperated before.
Quickly they brought them to the town near and Tsunade gave them emergency aid, now waiting for them to wake up.
In the room, they didn't have to wait long as the uzumaki squad due to there special physique, woke up.
"Kagami!"
Hisato was the first one to wake up, holding his head he sat up and seeing the person standing before him, he didn't take a second to recognise him.
"It's been a while Hisato!"
Greeted Kagami with a smile on his pale face, both of them had fought together in first ninja war and were pretty good acquaintance.
"Why am i...wait...Hirito-Sama!"
Hisato who was still kinda trying to understand the situation, asked a question only to stop after gazing at the figure lying next to him.
"Thank God!"
Quickly without caring about anything, Hisato held Hirito's wrist and felt his pulse, endless relief next second on his face.
"Sorry to be so blunt but the heir of Uzumaki Clan having his chakra pathways getting cut is not something to be happy at, Hisato!"
Seeing the relieved Hisato, Kagami with a slightly helpless face told the situation of Hirito to him, Tsunade earlier doing his treatment found out about this.

Hearing his words, the relieved look on Hisato's face faded as in his eyes reappearing that scene.
The cloaked enemy placing both of his thumbs on the chest of Hirito, a yellow energy arc bursting as coughing blood Hirito passed out and fell down from the tree.
The scene ended as Hisato returned to his senses, placing both hands to cover his face going silent.
