"This is Minato...?" walking past the stoic Naruto, Chiba looked at the comatose body of the fourth Hokage.
The man that laid before him looked nothing like the bright and cheerful man who once fought alongside Chiba to save him and the world, he looked like a corpse ready to enter the afterlife.
"What happened to him, what was capable of turning the fourth hokage into this?" Chiba looked at Minatos broken body with anger and sorrow.
"It was mostly likely the man who called himself madara uchiha but we dont know for sure.... Madara became relentless after that fight you and father had with that powerful man in the land of Sand. Madara set up dozens of assassination attempts on my fathers life, this must've been one of them...Me and mom were having dinner one day when father suddenly teleported ontop of the dinner table, his body missing limbs and burnt to a crisp!" Naruto hands were clentched tight as his teeth gritted in anger.
'The man who risked his life to fight with me against that invader is living in this sorry state, more dead than alive... I will find out who did this and avenge you, but first you need to be healed!'
"Ill need calories, its better to buy a bunch of military ration pills. Ill need a steady supply of calories to heal your father." Narutos eyes widened in shock at Chiba's word, he spoke like healing his father was more of a hassle than an impossibility!
"Ill pay for them since you just woke up from your coma, come on lets go! I know a shop that wasnt destroyed in the attack!" Naruto shot out of the room at top speed, Chiba could only let out a sigh as he jogged after him.
Chiba exited the door of Minato's bedroom, he passed by the nurses and security guards and followed after Naruto, not realizing one of the nurses had an evil glint in his eye.

Deep underneath Konoha, in a dark unground base that Housed over a hundred Root ninja, Danzo sat down in a large chair that resembled a throne.
Here in his office he ran the dark underbelly of Konoha, he's the evil that kept Konoha as the number one village in the world. With his incredibly wide information network around the world, he'd gather vital information for konoha while strategically weakening other villages.
A genin from the cloud village is showing extraordinary talent and is a potential Kage level ninja? Danzo would immediately send out a sqaud of Root ninja to make sure they dont survive their next mission. A scientist is close to find a way to create power weapons using chemicals rather than chakra? Danzo's root will steal the research before assassinating the scientist.
Danzo and Konoha weren't unique in doing this, every other village also snuffed out enemy ninja with potential, its just that Danzo was the greatest and most cunning in the world at doing so.
Danzo was overlooking a report about the Akatsuki's past action when suddenly a ninja flickered into his room and took a knee.
"Reporting Lord Danzo!" The masked ninja said.
"Proceed" Danzo still read the report as he half listened.
"Falcon stationed at the Fourth Hokages bedside has just made an emergency report, he wrote that Naruto Namikaze has just let in Chiba Uchiha to heal up his father! The Uchiha spoke confidently of healing the fourth Hokage!"
Danzo's eyes widened, a look of fear and anger in his eyes.
"Gather Teams 7-10, 18, and 23 to the fourth Hokage house, prevent that Uchiha from entering it at all cost As the second in command after the passing of Hiruzen, i am essentially the temporary hokage... And with that power i label Chiba Uchiha a traitor to the leaf and gather the leaf ninja tonstop him as well!"

It took Naruto and chiba an hour to get a jar of military ration, the first 45 minutes was just them waiting in an incredibly long line filled with victims of the Sands attack. The other 15 minutes was Chiba arguing with the shopkeep that he needed so many pills as they were currently rationing them out.
Chiba eventually relented to the shopkeepers demands and just left but only after he used his gravity Devil Fruit to steal a jar of pills. Naruto look at him funny but he didnt say anything about it, he couldnt care about the theft so long as it brought back his father!
"Wheres your mother staying? I'd want the first thing Minato see's after waking up to be you and her."
"She's currently in the hospital, apparently she is in a medically induced coma to heal up from the immense strain that nearly turning into the nine tailed fox caused her body. They said she's perfectly fine but she wont be awake for a week." Naruto already had a shadow clone by her side ready to notify him if anything were to happen.
"I see, no point in making your old man wait until she better. He should have a taste of what you and Kushina felt as he waits for her to wake up f-" Chiba came to a stop as he saw the house of Naruto come into view.
Surrounding the house was over two dozen ninja that all wore masks on their face, they immediately pulled their weapon upon Chiba's arrival.
One man, a ninja wearing a bird mask, stepped forward with a piece of paper in hand.
"Chiba Uchiha, you are currently being investigated under the suspicion of colluding the the Village hidden in the sand and the Criminal Mercenary Group Akatsuki's! Come with us willingly, any refusal will be met with extreme violence and will be considered an admission of Guilt!"
'Are they Anbu? But why would the anbu be trying to arrest me on baseless accusations, the only other group of konoha ninja that wear ma- ah, these are Root Ninja!'
"I have no problem complying with your request, I will go with you after I heal the fourth hokage back to full health." Chiba took a step forward only to see a kunai an inch from his face.
With a quick smack, the kunai was sent flying to the side as he looked up and saw a volley of hundreds of kunai, shurkiren and senbon needles heading straight for him!
With a smack to his stomach, Chiba sent Naruto flying away from all of the weapons as he internally let out a sigh.
'Im trying hard not to take another humans life without being forced to, but these Root ninja are fanatics too brainwashed by Danzo' with an internal sigh from whats about to come, Chiba raised his hands to the side and let the volley of weapons rain down on him.
The kunai stabbed into his chest and leg, shuriken sliced chunks of meat off of Chiba's bones as the senbon need turned him into a pin cushion!
Naruto watched in horror as blood began to pour out of Chiba from every wound, a kunai sticking out of his right eye and a senbon sticking out of his left!
"I have run out of patients and now this is simply self defense..." an all consuming killing intent poured out of the chakraless Chiba, the visage of death filled the heart of all 25 ninja as Chiba took a single step forward.
