Chapter 2180 - The Complexity of Humanity

Humans have their own reserve.

If we only choose the optimal option, machines can do that; if we only know how to eat, drink, play, and sleep, livestock can do that; if we only know the survival of the fittest, we are no different from beasts.

Humans are indeed humble and filthy, and many times beasts seem kinder and more upright than humans.

Humans are not beasts.

Just because they are not beasts, they are more complicated and ugly.

But even so, even if within the crowd lies scum worse than carrion animals, even if the entire crowd is filled with various filth, even if the world is full of beasts in human clothing. There are still reserves, kindness, strength, and openness among humans—these qualities are more dazzling than the sun.
