As the group sat together in Izuku's living room, going over the final steps of their plan, Momo quietly raised her hand a little, like she was back in school.
"Um… I have an idea," she said gently, her voice calm but serious.
Everyone turned to look at her.
"If we're worried about the airport… and about Rei-san finding out where we're going… then maybe we should use my family's private jet."
Izuku looked at her, thinking something. "Private jet huh?"
Momo nodded. "Yes. We actually have a few of them… something Rei-san doesn't even know about. My father used them for business all the time, but now that he's gone, they're all under my name. I can use them however I want."
She looked down at her hands for a moment, then back up.
"One of them is special—it doesn't need the usual flight clearance. We can land directly in any airport in the U.S. without dealing with paperwork or delays. So it solves almost all our travel problems."
Maki leaned forward, eyes wide. "So we wouldn't need to go through a normal airport? Not even for check-in or security?"
"Exactly," Momo said. "The jet takes off from our private airstrip. There won't be any lines, no ID checks, no crowds, nothing like that. It'll just be us. And since it's all managed within our estate, no one outside will even know we're going anywhere."
She looked at Izuku. "Rei-san won't find out, unless someone tells her directly."
Izuku leaned back, slowly nodding. "That actually sounds perfect."
Kaina crossed her arms, thinking. "How soon can it be ready?"
Momo reached into her pocket and pulled out her phone. "If I make the call right now, they'll have it ready by tomorrow morning. I'll tell them to prepare it for a silent trip. No staff on board, just us. I'll also take care of the food and handle all the luggage myself. That way, no one outside the estate will have any idea."
Fuyumi gently leaned her head on Izuku's shoulder and smiled. "You're amazing, Momo."
Maki gave her a grin and a thumbs-up. "Rich girl skills coming in clutch."
Momo blushed a little but smiled warmly. "It's the least I can do. This matters to all of us. And I really want Rei-san to finally feel cared for… to feel loved. But we can't give her that if she keeps shutting herself away or pretending she's fine."
Izuku nodded, his expression serious. "Then it's settled. Momo, you handle the jet. I'll go get the medicine and any supplies we might need. Fuyumi, can you start packing Rei-san's clothes and things she'll need?"
Fuyumi sat up straight and nodded. "Yes. I'll take care of it. I know what she wears and what she likes."
Everyone looked at each other in silence for a moment. The room was filled with quiet determination. It was a risky plan, and they knew that.
But they were doing it for someone they loved.
And thanks to Momo… they had a way to do it safely—without anyone stopping them.
After everyone agreed on the plan, the room slowly fell quiet. The others started discussing smaller details in hushed voices, but Momo stood up and walked toward the hallway with her phone in hand.
She took a deep breath and tapped a contact.
It rang once before the voice on the other end picked up.
"Young Lady Yaoyorozu," the man said respectfully.
"Good evening, Saito," Momo said softly. "I need the Falcon jet ready by early tomorrow morning."
There was a short pause. "Understood. Will it be for international travel?"
"Yes," Momo replied. "We'll be flying to the United States. Keep it private—no staff, no pilots outside our trusted circle. Just me and a few friends. I'll send the passenger list shortly."
"Of course, ma'am. I'll have the jet fueled and moved to the main hangar. Shall I prepare meals and luggage service?"
"No," she said gently but firmly. "I'll handle all of that myself. I want no outside staff involved. Not even the kitchen. I'll create the meals myself tonight and tomorrow morning."
"Understood. I'll make sure your request is followed exactly. Anything else?" Saito asked.
"Yes… One last thing. Make sure this doesn't appear on any logs or internal reports. Not even in our family system. Can you do that?" Asked Momo.
"Yes, I can. I'll see to it personally."
"Thank you, Saito," Momo said, her voice quieter now. "I really appreciate this."
"You're welcome, Young Lady. I'll send you an update in an hour."
There was a short pause on the other side. Then Saito said, "Yes, one more thing, Young Lady… your uncle—Rikuto-sama—he contacted the estate earlier this week.
He was asking about your whereabouts. He mentioned wanting to meet you. He also said he might visit in person if needed."
Momo's expression darkened slightly. Her grip on the phone tightened.
"Don't let him enter the estate," she said coldly. "Not even for a second. I don't care what reason he gives. Even if he shows up at the gate himself or claims it's urgent, don't let that bastard inside."
There was a pause before Saito responded. "As you wish, ma'am. I'll increase security on the property. You have my word."
He sounded calm, but there was a small edge of worry in his voice when he added, "Are you alright, Momo? You haven't come home… not even once, since your parents passed.
I know you're strong, but… you've been alone for a long time. I've been worried about you ma'am. I've always considered you as my daughter, and I can't help but be worried about you ma'am." Saito voiced his concerns.
Momo closed her eyes for a moment, holding the phone gently to her ear. Her voice softened.
"…I'm sorry I made you worry, Saito. I am greatful for the concern you have for me."
There was a small breath before she continued, "I'm okay. Really. I'm really okay Saito, I promise. I'll visit you soon. I promise. I'm just… not ready to go back yet. That place reminds me of all the happy moments I shared with my parents, which were suddenly taken away from me." she said.
Then she smiled, just a little.
"But I'm safe. And I'm with the person I trust the most. Just like I trust you Saito. I'm safe with him, and he protects me just like you and my parents did. He's doing everything you guys do for me, Saito."
Saito's voice came through quietly, "That's all I needed to hear. Thank you, Young Lady. I'll take care of everything you need, just say the word and it shall happen." Saito assured her.
She ended the call, lowering the phone with a slow exhale. Her hand stayed on the phone for a moment, her thoughts still racing.
Then she quickly opened a secure message app and typed out a short list of names—Toji Yamikumo, Fuyumi Todoroki, Rei Todoroki, Eri Yamikumo, Maki Yamikumo, Kaina Tsutsumi—and sent it to Saito with one tap.
She walked into the kitchen where Maki and Kaina were preparing to make the food for tomorrow's trip, as she rolled up her sleeves, and opened the fridge.
With quiet focus, she started helping Kaina and Maki in preparing the meals—simple, fresh, and easy to carry.
Rice balls, vegetable rolls, fruit slices, grilled chicken, water bottles. Everything carefully wrapped and packed in small containers. She wrote the names of each person on top with a marker, while Maki and Kaina put the bento boxes together.
After that, she moved to the guest room where Fuyumi had pulled out three suitcases. She had packed essentials for Rei—simple clothes, a soft sweater, nightwear, toiletries, and a few things that would be a surprise for even Rei as well. She added a book Rei liked, a small hairbrush, and even a warm scarf.
When she was done packing the things, Momo took another bag Fuyumi had removed, and placed all the food and snacks she had made.
Food, bags, transport.
It was all coming together.
She turned off the lights and walked back into the living room, where the others were still talking quietly. Her eyes found Izuku's, and she gave him a small nod.
"Everything's set," she said softly. "The jet will be ready by morning."
Izuku gave her a proud smile. "You really pulled it off."
Momo smiled back, her eyes warm but determined. "Now all that's left… is getting Rei there."
