May is overflowing with energy.
The poor girl has been bouncing around and singing to herself and her stuffed bunny since she woke up this morning. She's clearly in the mood to run around.
Alas, it's not time to stop or for us to wander.
I sigh to myself, and ruffle her hair as I let her lean on my legs. "Don't worry, sweetheart."
"May's NOT worried." She grumbles.
She certainly is.
It's pretty clear to anyone.
But that isn't something I'm going to point out, of course.
That'd just be needlessly rude.
May flails her arms around wildly. "I just. Really! REALLY!! REAAAAALLYYYYY!!!! REALLY! Want! To! Get! Out and. RUN and SING and PLAY!" She throws her head back and whines to the heavens. "Liiikee! Awwweerrr! Whhhyyyyy!"
"Awwer?" Lucas tilts his head. "What's an awwer?"
"It's an animal!! A FLYING one!! Like a birdie but! BIGGER AND MORE SCARY and PRETTIER!" May throws her arms up in the air as she bounces, looking to the sky.
