Xu Chen stepped out of the private room and stopped in his tracks after a few steps. Turning his head, he glimpsed through the gap in the curtains and, to his surprise, it was the Crown Prince. He quickly averted his gaze and hastened back to the private room. "Father, I saw the Crown Prince."
Prince Qi's hand, holding a wine cup, paused in mid-air. He seemed about to send someone to inquire, but ultimately held back, "We will leave after we've finished eating."
In the Crown Prince's private room, the Crown Prince noticed Xu Chen, "Father, that was Xu Chen just now."
The Emperor mused, "It seems Prince Qi got here before us."
The Emperor sent someone to find out when Prince Qi had arrived. The guard returned quickly, and the Emperor laughed, "What a coincidence today is."
The Crown Prince was puzzled, "Ming Teng is getting married tomorrow, and yet he takes his younger brothers and sisters out on the streets today."
