Chapter 117 - Translator's Afterword

Dear readers,

I'm happy to announce that the full translation of Grand Admiral, Volume 2 is now complete and available.

Truth be told, the translation itself was completed a while ago — but editing and proofreading took far longer than I'd like to admit. AI might spit out a page in seconds, but it also loves deleting nuance, breaking continuity, and butchering dialogue. So every single chapter had to be reviewed, restored, and polished manually — by me, and me alone.

Of course, I'm still human — not a robot. After dozens of pages, the mind starts skipping over small mistakes, especially when working solo. That's why I'm especially grateful to those of you who take the time to point out errors or typos when you spot them. Every bit of feedback helps improve the final result.

And remember. Every chapter, every word — from this and all my other translated works — is the result of my time, my effort, and my decision to keep going. There's no team, no corporate funding, no hidden helpers. Just me, a keyboard, and whatever motivation your support manages to squeeze out of me.

If you'd like early access to 20+ chapters from upcoming volumes, plus a ton of additional content (most of it arriving soon), consider joining my Patreon — it's just $3. Every bit helps me keep doing this work sustainably.

As for the single-file version of Volume 2: it's coming. I'll need to run through everything once more to make sure it's clean. That takes time, and right now, not much of it is spare.

Next up: Volume 3 — the largest and most explosive part of the series so far. It's as long as the first two volumes combined, packed with turning points and a finale that won't leave you indifferent. The finale alone will blow your mind — brains splattered on the walls. I'll have to scrape them up and shove them back into your soulless puppet bodies just so you can finish reading. And if it doesn't, well — at least I'll know I tried harder than most would bother.

Volume 3 has only one downside: after it, Volume 4 will feel painfully dull. But since you guys are less nitpicky than the original Russian readers (those folks dissect every typo with a microscope), I'm pretty sure you'll still think it's a masterpiece.

And finally — thank you. To everyone who left comments, posted reviews, sent Power Stones, or helped promote the series in any way — your support made a real difference. It helped bring this translation to a wider audience and gave me the motivation to keep pushing forward.

Good luck to all of you — and may the Force be with you.
