Thirty minutes ago, when Hiro and Kai were going towards Maximus's office with the knight.
Ray and Nino around that time, were behind the palace; by the garden as the two were sitting on the grass. Close to each other, like a loving pair; Nino was making some flower crown while Ray just watched her with a smile full of affection for her. It was a lovely moment with the two, as Nino finished making her flower crown; kind of messy but Ray happily took it, putting on his head. The two were happily sharing their moment, slowly getting closer but just then, a bee came flying to the flower crown on Ray.
He tried to fly it away, but the bee kept coming. Feeling his mood going off, Ray used his wind magic to push the bee away. But as he thought now the bee won't come at him, Nino slowly pointed to Ray's back with a worried, slightly feared look. Ray turned to where she was pointing, as he saw the group of bees.
Ray and Nino quickly stood up. Ray slowly took onto Nino's hand, whispering as he said; "Hold on tight."
Nino tightened her grip on Ray's hand, as Ray quickly pulled Nino to his arm; carrying her as a strong wind began to flow around Ray and he leaped to the second floor in an instant. As the two landed, both looked back seeing the bees flying to them as they spoke in unison;
"Run…"
They both ran through the corridor, laughing as Nino asked; "Doesn't this remind you of our childhood Ray?"
To this, Ray nodded, smiling as he recalled the past, where the two as kids were being chased by bees and got bitten by few as well.
As they ran, the bees lost track of them and returned back while the two continued to run, laughing as they passed by Kai and Mono; not noticing the two.
The two quickly ran to Ray's room, going inside while slightly closing the door behind as they laid in bed side by side; still laughing. Nino turned to Ray, smiling as she exclaimed how happy she feels, spending time like this with Ray like they did in their childhood. Seeing her smile, Ray slightly blushed; pausing for a while as if thinking something. He then slightly averted his gaze from her as he whispered.
"You know, I had a dream a few days back where I saw you…"
This caught Nino's attention, sparkles formed in her eyes as she asked what dream Ray had. Ray then slowly began to describe it, recalling back to when Kai revealed himself to Ray and stated the part where Kai took on Nino's appearance and pranked him; just that ray described it as a dream and didn't say anything on Kai coming in between anything else.
After he described it, there was a calm silence for a while with Ray still looking away from Nino. He slowly turned to Nino, wondering what kind of look she had. But as he saw her face, his eyes looked onto her. Nino was blushing red, her eyes sparkling brightly with her mouth slightly open. For some reason, Ray was immediately attracted to her as he felt a strong urge to kiss her. But in that moment, what Nino said left him speechless; as Nino stated.
"I wouldn't mind… having Ray's child. We will have to do it… eventually. Right…?"
Nino looked at Ray with such an innocent look, that Ray's string which was holding him snapped. He swiftly moved on top of Nino, breathing slowly in sync with Nino as the two looked at each other in the eye. The time seemed to have frozen for the two, as Ray slowly leaned forward to her, with Nino closing her eyes; ready for what is going to come next.
But that moment quickly shattered, as a voice spoke in Ray's eyes, beginning with a whistle.
"Now that's a real hot scene. I wonder what's going to happen next."
As the voice finished, Ray quickly sits up still, blushing with a shocked expression as he quickly looked around. Just then, the voice continued as it said; "No need to look around, just think in your mind on whatever you want to speak to me."
As it finished, Ray's mind raised the voice with a slightly annoyed tone; "Kai…"
At that moment, outside to the room by the door; Kai seated on his wheelchair peeking inside through the small opening. A smirk playing on his lips as he confirmed it was him, saying;
"You got it Ray. The mood is all set, but maybe you should spice things a bit."
To what Kai said, Ray asked what he meant and outside, Kai looked to his side seeing Mono blushing, covering her mouth and murmuring to herself about how the things between Ray and Nino are going exactly as she read in a novel. Kai simple chuckled to this, as he responded to Ray saying;
"Just do as I say."
Ray was slightly confused, until Nino's voice brought him back as she asked what happened. Ray looked back at her, her shy expression, with a hint of nervousness and innocence were taking over Ray's thinking, when Kai's voice came in again.
"Alright, here comes the first scene. Tell her that she…"
Ray sat still, while Nino was looking at him with anticipation. She was about to speak again, when suddenly Ray averted his gaze from her as he whispered with a shy look.
"It's just… you looked so cute just now… I almost lost myself…"
to Ray's words, Nino began to blush more with her ears turning red; as she covered her mouth with her hand. Her eyes darted around the room, while Ray kept screaming at himself internally to why he said exactly as Kai told him to.
Outside, Kai was holding back his laughter seeing Ray flustered while next to him, Mono kept murmuring to herself; while peeking inside, being flustered and saying how she never thought of seeing such thing happen right in front of her house; and that too between her sister and her sister's fiancée. Kai simple glanced at her, smiling when he heard Nino's voice raising, as she spoke.
"I-I… I… wouldn't mind i-if… it's you…"
Ray was left speechless; blushing to his ear, while outside Mono had herself excited and anticipated to what's coming next. Kai simply smirked with, thinking;
"And now comes that one sentence which can make any guy lose their mind."
As he thought so, inside; Nino was tugging onto the blanket to her side, covering her face with only her eyes visible as she said;
"Please… be gentle with me…"
