Passing by a women's shoe store, Sun Qiyan suddenly stopped.
He looked at the store. "Change your shoes. You can barely walk anymore."
Shen Jing, surprised by his attentiveness, went into the store and bought a pair of comfortable flats. She took off her high heels, carrying them in her hand.
"I don't really like blind dates," she said. "Grandma is forgetful and always fusses about me still being single at 30."
Even at thirty, she wasn't in a rush to go on blind dates. She felt that marriage was too distant, like with her mother, who had made one wrong step and ended up with nothing good.
"You said you have a boyfriend," Sun Qiyan looked up at the building, a slight smile playing on his lips as he whispered, "but that's a complete lie."
The wind blew her long hair. A faint smile touched her lips. "I didn't exactly lie to you."
