The ground cracked open.
The White Ape stepped on the serpent's body, its large arm wrapped around a whole piece of black and white snake skin. It gripped the headless snake body, probing with its index and middle fingers between the flesh and bones, searching for something. Its expression brightened upon discovery and with great force, it pulled out a light yellow tendon, displaying it in front of the four Great Demons.
Fresh snake tendon, bloody, slippery, and highly elastic.
The White Ape tugged repeatedly a couple of times, finally wrapping the tendon twice around its thick finger, pulling it out bit by bit.
The snake body thrashed wildly, hammering the earth, creating ravines and vacuums.
The heavens and the earth trembled.
