Chapter 209 - Ch. 211

"Harry!" Thor gaped at him. "You can't be serious!"

"I'm deadly serious, mate, she's coming with me," Harry responded, he spoke again when he noticed that they were about to protest. "and that's final." His voice was quite firm, making it clear that there would be no more arguing about this particular subject.

"Well, in that case, you can come with me," Loki said with a deep sigh. "I could use the added protection."

"What?" Harry blinked.

"I'm not staying here," Loki admitted, sending an apologetic look to Frigga as he took her hand in his own. "I'm sorry, Mother, but I found a new home, on a new planet. A place that needs a ruler, and… well… I volunteered." He finished with a small shrug. He and Frigga stared at each other for several moments, tears built up in Frigga's eyes before she pulled him into a hug that Loki quickly and gladly returned.

"My boy," She said with a watery smile as she pulled back, "I am so proud of you."

"Thank you, Mother," Loki said in a soft voice before turning to Harry. "I could use some added muscle in case we get attacked on the way, I also believe that we will be passing your planet on the way there."

"Thanks, but no thanks," Harry said, holding out his sling ring. "I've got to get back home as soon as possible, I have two women, one child, and possibly a partridge in a pear tree waiting for me. Besides, it's better if I get Hela off here as soon as possible."

"I second that," Hela quietly agreed, looking extremely uncomfortable.

"Thor, good luck with being a king and all," Harry said to Thor. "Oh, and make sure you come and visit occasionally, my daughter would love you. Oh, and Frigga, you can come as well." Harry raised his hands and used the sling ring to create a portal to Earth. "Bye guys." Harry waved before he gently guided Hela through the portal.

.....

"Sup Fury?" Those very words caused Nick Fury to turn around at lightning speed, pulling a gun out as he did so and aiming it at the voice he had just heard. Fortunately, the fact that he recognized the voice and had the required amount of self-control needed for someone in his position had stopped him from firing. He blinked when he saw a pale woman with dark hair and a ripped-up black outfit standing next to Harry Potter who was giving him a small but very cheeky wave.

"Damn it, Potter!" Fury hissed. "Stop teleporting everywhere! I nearly blew your motherfucking head off!"

"Yeah, it's cute that you think I would have let you." Harry rolled his eyes before continuing. "Anyway, Fury, I need your help with something."

"Of course you do," This time it was Fury who rolled his eyes, he lowered his gun but didn't put it away. "you never visit otherwise."

"I'm sorry if that hurts your feelings, Fury, if you want then we can see up a weekly lunch date? I'd love that," Harry said sarcastically. "or we can go to the movies every month?"

"Just shut up and tell me what you want, and while you're at it, you can tell me who she is. Not in that order." Fury sat down behind his desk and gave Harry an expectant look.

"This woman is Hela," Harry introduced her. "she is the half-sister of Thor and daughter of Odin, she goes by 'The Goddess of Death'." Harry's words caused Fury's eyebrows to rise so high that it looked like they were about to jump off his head, he quickly brought them back under control and stared at Hela who was still looking quite sickly and pained.

"Truly?" He asked, only the smallest amount of doubt in his voice. He knew that his relationship with Harry was not as strong as his relationship with Coulson or Hill, but he still trusted Harry enough to believe what he was saying, even if that very thing was extremely hard to believe. But after spending years dealing with aliens, gods, robots, magical people, and everything in-between, there was very little that he believed to be impossible.

"Truly," Hela spoke up before letting out a violent cough.

"She's had a bad experience with some magic," Harry explained before he took out his phone. "I need you to help me set up a home for her, Fury."

"I beg your pardon?" Fury blinked and looked at Harry like he had suddenly decided to stop speaking English. "You want me to set up a home for the goddess of death?!"

"Yeah, that's pretty much what I said," Harry nodded as he put the phone next to his head as he started calling someone. "give me a sec."

"No! No, I am not giving you a sec! Explain this!" Fury ordered. "Now!"

"I will, but if you'll excuse me for a minute, I need to answer to a much higher authority than you."

"Who?!" Fury demanded to know.

"Who?!" Fury demanded to know.

"My wife," Harry answered just before his call was accepted. "hey, hi Honey," Harry said into his phone. "yeah, it's me. Yes, yes, I know, there was just a shit storm of problems that I had to deal with involving Thor and his whole family's inability to not fuck shit up. I swear, his mother is like the only stable one there." Harry paused and looked towards Hela. "No offense."

"You pulled me out of Hel, I'm not going to be upset over what is honestly an understatement." She waved him off before moving to the nearest seat she could find and sitting down.

"I'm sorry, but he pulled you out of hell?" Fury asked, leaning forwards as he stared at her with disbelief.

"Yes," Hela growled. "my father had sent me there. Stupid old man!" Hela began letting out a flowing stream of curses, under her breath, all aimed at her father. Fury stared at her for several minutes before he turned his focus back to Harry who was still talking on his phone.

"Yes, yeah, he actually did that," Harry said, scratching the back of his head as he did so. "yeah, no, she's cool. Yeah, that hurt, but let's be honest, she's not the first-ever woman to stab me."

Fury looked back and forth between the two for several minutes before placing his face in his hands and letting out a small sigh as he rubbed his forehead. All the while, one thought popped into his head and played over and over.

'I am far too old and underpaid for this shit.'
