Mycroft looked short-legged, but he ran very quickly. He pulled Aiwass along, swiftly making their way to the apartment Sherlock previously rented.
He greeted the landlady warmly and got the spare key to go upstairs. Aiwass also exchanged some polite words with the enthusiastic landlady and then followed up.
"Didn't Sherlock move back to live with your family?"
Aiwass asked in puzzlement.
"Indeed," Mycroft replied, "but he didn't take all the materials with him. Sherlock is like a squirrel; he always likes to scatter his acorns here and there. The difference is, he's slightly smarter than a squirrel. So even if one of the acorns is stolen or lost, he can always find backups from elsewhere or store encrypted files in different places to make them indecipherable... Oh, found it."
Mycroft spoke while rummaging through the dusty bookshelves looking for files.
He soon found a folder. On the outside, it said "Speculations on the 'Third Rebellion Case'".
