One sunny morning, a group of children from Maple Eleme. "Not again…"
But Mittens ran after the children and meowed loudly. She rubbed against their legs and kept purring until they stopped running. Then she turned and walked back to Grizzle, looking back as if to say, He's okay. Come meet him.
The children followed slowly. Grizzle stood still, trying not to look too scary. Mittens sat on his foot and purred.
One brave boy stepped forward. "Is… is he your pet?"
Grizzle chuckled. "No. I think I'm her pet."
The children laughed. They saw how gentle Grizzle was with Mittens and realized he wasn't a scary monster after all.
From that day on, the villagers visited Grizzle often. They brought him food, playedntary School went on a field trip to the Sunny Valley Banana Factory. The students were very excited. They had never been to a banana factory before! Their teacher, Mrs. Parker, told them they would learn how bananas are cleaned, packed, and sent to stores.
