Destructive power was not magic. Therefore, World End magic was a waste
After beginning her training under Rachel, that was the first thing she was told. Katarina had readied herself to hear a lot of things but hearing that the pinnacle of magic was useless shocked her quite a bit.
"Don't get me wrong. It is quite excellent magic. But its structure is so basic it makes me gag." Rachel observed a bit of unwillingness on Katarina's face and gestured for her to stand up.
"Its easier to explain in action. Try casting one. A World End magic." Katarina blinked and considered warning her until she remembered who she was talking to and swallowed her words.
"World End – Oceanic Surge." She decided to start off small and water bubbled in the air as the spell wove into existence. Seeing this, Rachel merely responded with a small magic circle. The power contained in it was a billion times lesser than Katarina's spells yet there was something that made her wary.
