Chapter 64 - Season 2: "Massive Story Rework"

Hello to all my dear readers. I am ItsAccelDude, the author of this story, which was last updated in August 2024. I apologize for the long hiatus, which has lasted nearly a year. I am now moving on to Season 2 of the story, titled "Massive Story Rework." This means that readers coming from Season 1 can expect significant changes. I will also outline what those changes are. Thank you for your understanding and support!

In Season 2 of the story, I plan to incorporate a timeskip of 2-3 years, allowing the main character to enter adulthood. This timeskip will bring about significant changes in various aspects of his life, including the people he cares about, his family, his friends, and his environment.

The reason behind the significant changes is that I've forgotten what I wrote earlier in this story. As you may have noticed, many of my previous works are on hiatus. Like many writers, I often find myself inspired by numerous ideas, which can lead to dropping certain stories or pausing my writing to explore new concepts for different narratives.

Here are the latest changes for Season 2:

Titles:

1. Monster Slayer (Intermediate Level 20): Increase 100% Damage to Rank C or lower monsters; Decrease 5% of Rank C or lower monsters' DEF, which can stack up to 30% DEF Reduction.

2. Resolute Defender (Intermediate Level 20): Instead of increasing all stats temporarily, the user will gain 30 seconds of immunity to physical damage and gain 1 minute of 1000 DEF.

3. Last Stand (Intermediate Level 20): When the user's health reaches zero, it instead stops at 10%. Additionally, the user receives a 10-second boost in stamina, power, and agility, enabling them to turn the tide of battle or escape from life-threatening situations. The Last Stand ability can be reset once a day and does not stack.

4. Shield of the People (Intermediate Level 10): This ability grants temporary immunity to both physical and magical attacks for civilians or non-combatants near the user. However, using the shield depletes the user's mana and stamina with each passing minute. Once both mana and stamina are exhausted, the ability will begin to consume the user's health points instead. While the Shield of the People is active, it also boosts morale temporarily and does not incur any additional costs in mana or stamina.

5. Enduring Flame (Intermediate Level 10): When engaged in continuous combat for more than 30 minutes, the user benefits from a 5% increase in stamina regeneration and damage resistance due to enhanced mental and physical resilience. If combat extends beyond 1 hour, the user gains an additional 5% boost to defense and 3% health regeneration every 10 seconds. However, health regeneration occurs only when the user is not stunned or incapacitated. This effect is activated after exceeding 30 minutes of battle.

(Search based on VS Battles Tier System, but the rest of the information I just made it up for this story, I didn't copy all information from the wiki, because it's not right and I only follow the important tiers, that's all and thank you vs battles because of the useful guides!)

Health Points: Capable of withstanding building-collapsing shockwaves or dungeon explosions when protected. This represents how much damage Accel can endure before faltering. His armor, titles, and constitution enable him to withstand magical bursts, group ambushes, and elite strikes. (Tier 9-B Durability)

Mana Points: Accel can cast approximately 20 Intermediate Level spells before needing a mana potion or a brief rest. Alternatively, he can cast around 5 large-scale Intermediate Level spells. This reflects the number of light magic spells Accel can use before exhausting his mana. While his mana pool is stable, it isn't large enough to perform massive-scale magic. (Mid-Tier Human Mage)

Stamina Points: This character can engage in mid-intensity combat for 1 to 2 hours continuously. In full burst mode, where he fights at maximum strength without holding back, he can sustain this for 15 to 30 minutes. Thanks to the Enduring Flame ability and passive regeneration, he recovers 5% of his stamina each minute while not moving aggressively. (High)

Attack: Base sword strikes can crack reinforced shields, break stone armor, and send smaller enemies flying 1–2 meters. Strong skills (e.g., Cleave, Power Slash) can shatter dungeon doors, smash stone barriers, or kill Rank C+ enemies in 1–2 hits. (Wall-Level Striking Power)

Defense: Can block 50–70% of incoming physical damage from non-magical sources. Shield abilities like Iron Defense and Deflecting Spin let him absorb AoE blasts and protect up to 5–10 allies in formation. (Reinforced Knight-Class)

Speed: Can dodge arrows, fireballs, and spear thrusts in close range. Runs at 25–30 km/h in armor, but boosts to 60 km/h in short bursts. Has frame-level precision in duels (0.3–0.5 sec reaction time). (Subsonic Reaction)

Strength: Can carry a fully armored soldier, break down metal doors, throw 100–150kg enemies, and fight for hours with a heavy shield and sword. (Peak Human to Superhuman)

Constitution: Can resist paralysis, poison, bleeding, and fight while wounded. Can function at 60–70% HP loss without collapsing. Immune to stun under 3 seconds. (High-Resilience)

Dexterity: Can parry incoming attacks at close range, catch thrown daggers, and switch between sword + shield combat seamlessly. Helps with multi-target tracking and counterattacks. (Advanced Human Precision)

Intelligence: Knows small-unit formations, can exploit terrain, and identify enemy weaknesses after short observation. Can coordinate 5–10 units or NPCs effectively. (Tactical Instinct)

Charisma: 

Luck: Frequently finds rare items, skill books, and avoids fatal ambushes. Has +10% crit chance in close duels. Fate favors him in unpredictable outcomes (e.g., dungeon escape rolls, survival events). (Rare Encounter Favor)

Advanced Shield Mastery: Enhances Accel's block efficiency by 25%, grants a 15% chance to reflect 10% of melee skills to the attacker, increases resistance to knockbacks and shield breaks by 10%, and allows for instant recovery stance after parrying with a shield, shortening follow-up skill cooldowns by 1 second.

Advanced Footwork Mastery: Reduces incoming physical damage to Accel by 20%, increases resistance to stuns, knockdowns, and tripping effects by 20%, provides a 10% evasion bonus against AoE melee skills, and enables minor dash or movement cancels during light armor sets for frame recovery.

Advanced Sword Precision: Increases Accel's critical hit chance by 20%, boosts critical hit damage by an additional 20%, and grants a 10% chance with successful precision strikes to apply "Wound," which reduces the target's healing received by 20% for 5 seconds.

Iron Will (Evolve to Iron Resolve): Reduces incoming magic damage to Accel by 20%, increases debuff resistance by 25%, grants immunity to mind-affecting effects (such as fear, charm, and panic) for the first 10 seconds of combat, and provides a "Resolve Bar" that charges when taking magical damage; once full, the next status effect is automatically blocked.

Enhance Endurance (Limit Break): Increases Accel's maximum health by 25%, provides natural health regeneration of 5% every 10 seconds while stationary, grants a "Stagger Shield": if Accel's health drops to 10% or lower, he gains 20% damage resistance for 5 seconds (with a 1-minute cooldown), and allows Accel to carry 15% more weight without a stamina penalty, enhancing equipment flexibility.

Advanced Mana Mastery: Through Advanced Mana Mastery, Accel significantly boosts his internal mana reserves, increasing his maximum mana capacity by 35%. This enhancement allows him to cast a wider range of support and offensive spells during extended battles without the immediate need for restoration items. Additionally, his natural mana regeneration rate improves by 20%, enabling him to recover energy passively even while moving or lightly engaged in combat. His magical resistance also subtly increases, providing a 5% passive reduction against mana-draining effects and enemy disruption spells. This mastery ensures that Accel can maintain momentum during prolonged engagements, acting as both a reliable spellcaster and a self-sufficient magical unit.

Advanced Light Magic Mastery: With Advanced Light Magic Mastery, all of Accel's light-elemental spells receive a 30% power boost, enhancing both healing and offensive magic. The structure of his light spells becomes more efficient, reducing their mana costs by 10% and allowing him to cast more frequently without depleting his resources. The light energy he harnesses now carries a latent divine signature, granting every offensive light spell a 15% chance to inflict "Radiant Disruption," which briefly stuns dark-aligned or corrupted targets for one second. This mastery also enhances his aura-based abilities, increasing their area of effect by 10%, making support coverage more efficient in multi-ally scenarios. Light flows through Accel not just as a force, but as a language he speaks fluently in battle.

Advanced Mana Manipulation Mastery: Through this mastery, Accel can manipulate his internal energy with remarkable precision. His spell-casting speed increases by 25%, enabling him to cast spells more quickly, chain abilities more fluidly, and interrupt enemies attempting to counter his moves. Additionally, his resistance to cast disruptions rises by 20%, making it more difficult for attacks or destabilizing fields to interrupt his spell formations. He can now safely channel spells even while under physical duress or moving at moderate speeds. Accel also benefits from a passive ability called "Mana Stabilization Field," which creates an aura that reduces the instability of multi-layered spell combinations. This lowers the risk of failure when two or more magical effects are active simultaneously.

Master Skill Stats Concealment: This rare and elite-tier passive skill allows Accel to suppress the visibility of his stats, skill levels, and magical aura from almost all forms of detection. With Master-level Skill Stats Concealment, 100% of his skills and stats remain hidden from all lower- and same-tier scan or appraisal systems. Only individuals with Master-level appraisal-type abilities or higher have a 25-50% chance of partially detecting certain non-hidden traits. If someone attempts to scan him forcibly, Accel can trigger a passive magical counter-jamming pulse, which temporarily distorts the results or provides false data. This mastery also grants him a permanent +15% resistance to perception-based divination magic, effectively making him invisible to magic-based scouting tools unless he chooses to allow detection.
