Jiang Feng served the egg fried rice to the monk and also gave him a bowl of corn pumpkin porridge.
It was around 8:30 AM. The prepared food ingredients were mostly sold out, and the task was successfully completed.
The monk was about to eat his fried rice when a nearby customer asked,
"Master, are you able to leave the monastery on normal days?"
"I have a friend's child who wants to become a monk, and I just wanted to inquire about the situation in the temple."
Hearing the customer's question, the monk replied,
"Day-to-day work in the monastery can be quite exhausting. Sweeping, washing dishes, serving meals, cleaning the hall, offering incense, water offerings, morning and evening classes, distributing and receiving scriptures—all these tasks need to be done.
"You also have to memorize scriptures; you must know them by heart.
"Different monasteries have different rules and different positions.
