Even if they couldn't accomplish it, a simple explosion would not be enough to eliminate them. The bombs placed throughout the surrounding area would also blast this energy chamber, taking with it an entire swath of the area, out of the mechanical structure of the Mechanical Ark.
They would rather blow a massive hole on their own Mechanical Ark, sacrificing a portion of the 'body', just to isolate Gu Hang and his group outside.
They succeeded.
But it was pointless.
The issue still lay with Gu Hang. The Interstellar Warrior, protected by Spiritual Energy, moved them into relatively safer structures just before the explosion, surviving the dangerous energy chamber detonation. Subsequently, they collectively teleported from the blasted wreckage into the Mechanical Ark.
The remnants of the Mechanical Sect's higher-ups within the Mechanical Ark were left speechless.
