"Yanyi, eat more rice, have you been eating less and less lately? Dieting?" Mother Su wasn't too pleased when she saw Su Yanyi only eat half a bowl of rice and then stop, she commented.
"No, I'm full." Having not seen Qin Jiran at dinner for three consecutive days, Su Yanyi felt that she might very well "be on a diet" soon.
"Your appetite hasn't been affected by Jiran's absence, has it?" Mother Su instantly transformed into a truth-seeker, guessing the reality of the situation.
Before Su Yanyi could answer, Father Su chimed in: "Jiran must be busy now, but that's okay, you're going to be busy too. In the future, you two can just skip coming home for meals together."
