Lu Shufen swaggered into Cheng Su's home, casting a disdainful look over the small pigeonhole of an apartment, her face showing nothing but contempt.
"Madam Jiang, please have a seat," Cheng Su gestured toward the sofa.
Lu Shufen snorted and sat down without a word of thanks.
Cheng Su also sat down, and didn't even serve tea, figuring that such a haughty person wouldn't appreciate it, so why waste the water.
Lu Shufen grew even more displeased. Coming from a rural background, she indeed lacked manners, not even knowing to serve tea.
Still, serving it or not didn't matter; who knew if it was clean? She wouldn't drink it!
"Madam Jiang's time is precious; let's not beat around the bush. Let's cut to the chase," Cheng Su said, "You're here because of Chiang Qing, aren't you?"
Lu Shufen was taken aback by Cheng Su's initiative, but she quickly composed herself and said, "You're a clever one, but unfortunately, not clever enough."
