"I will hire a famous lawyer. Tang Jin, I'll see you in court," Mu Jiujiu said emotionlessly, her tone resolute as she stared at the man.
At her words, Tang Jin's face changed abruptly and he paused momentarily before warning in a cold voice, "Are you sure you've thought this through?"
"I just want my freedom," Mu Jiujiu replied firmly.
"Even if you could lose custody of your son, you don't care?" Tang Jin narrowed his eyes and countered.
"Tang Jin, no one can be sure of the outcome of a lawsuit until the last moment. Even someone as powerful and influential as you can't be one hundred percent certain," Mu Jiujiu stated decisively, leaving no room for negotiation.
"Fine, since you are so confident, I'll just wait and see," Tang Jin said, not elaborating further as he headed towards his son's bedroom, only to be blocked by Mu Jiujiu stepping in front of him.
"What are you doing?" Mu Jiujiu asked nervously.
