Myne awoke confused and scared as she was aimlessly wandering in what was considered the most dangerous area aroundeven to someone from a village that was as rural and isolated as her own. It was supposed to be a place where everyone and anyone who entered met their end at the hands of abnormally strong robots for this area. So much so that the reason why no one has even fully taken it over at least from Myne's knowledge on the human side of things.The one from the robot side was they just did not do it.They did not question why other than just not doing it for some reason plain and simple was the reasoning.Of course, robots went and made up reasons for why this is the case to justify it in their owncentral processor though
The overly tall teenage village girl was continuing her aimless wandering in the South not realizing she was going deeper and deeper into it. Rationalizing that if she went back the way she came then they would surely kill her if they spotted her. The raiders and bandits that ransacked her home and village were probably still in the area outside of the South's entrance.
'Better to take my chance get through to the other side of the South that has not decided to attack than take my chance with people that will attack me on sight' Myne thought.
This was not just something she thought up without at least seeing what the other option was if she had decided to go through with it. Despite her height, she was able to get close enough to the entrance of the South to see someone else from another village or wherever they were from an attempt to run out once they were left alone. They did not come back though as what did however was not them it was their corpse instead that came back to be dumped this time in the left to rot rather than die first. So trying to escape from the entrance was seemingly the same as just like what going deep into instead of with extra steps. Both would possibly lead to death, just one has extra steps, and with the other at least with her there was seemingly a chance for her to make it out alive on the other side.
Being from a rural and isolated village she did not know what was on the other side of the South. It was not what awaited her on the other side would not be death per se at least not in the manner of which was just used to it. As on the other side of the South in which she was traveling in and should she keep going until she exits the South that way would lead to what had become of the Reva's domain on the robot's side of things. The three remaining members of the Guardians carved up what was supposed to be his domain for themselves after all. So should Myne make it over there what awaited her was not death but instead roboticization which can be viewed as its own form of death since her humanity would be lost and much more depending on who she was found by.
What Myne could not have known at the time was that by continuing on this path she was onher life would be spared however her humanity would be a different story as around the same time that Myne was traveling around going deeper and deeper into the South.There was someone else roaming around as well and there was not just one of the local robots either.
It was Page the robot girl that was willingly serving Reva of her own free will rather than a side effect of being exposed to this unflitered and unrestrained passive ability. He had no control over it because that was just how he was as he never learned how to dial it back thus it was always at full and max settings after all. She was roaming around looking not just for scarp metal but also handling intruders that came into Reva's land without permission. How she was able to do was because she was now far stronger than she looked. Page was quite possibly now one of the strongest robots from her village where everyone was roboticized like herself thus she was tasked with this duty by Cami along with her childhood friend Carter who was just as strong as her now in his own robot form.
As Page was roaming around she discovered the overly tall Myne just roaming around aimlessly and then a wicked grin appeared on her face. She saw Myne and rather than getting rid of her for trespassing like she had with many others that had wandered this deep into the South. She decided she was going to play a prank on her instead as she got a junk robot that she had found lying around and then without making a sound snuck up on Myne from behind and then using the junk robot like a puppet yelled at her as Myne then turned to find herself face to face with what seems to be dangerous robot thus rather than fight or flight. She just passed out on the spot after yelling as she fell back and landed on the ground with a thud.
Page could not help by find it beyond funny how Myne reacted to this jump scare that she had created on the fly but not that she was out cold. Page then all of a sudden decided that she was going to be taking her back home with her as she had something that needed to be done. Did not know why but she was just doing it because looking at Myne it was just what came to her mind and she was going to do it as a result of this. Doing things without understanding them was a quirk and feature that came with being a robot
