The three sat down, and Zhou Mingchen picked up the menu, browsing carefully.
Xia Lu's phone suddenly rang. She glanced down, saw it was Xia Yidong calling, and stood up immediately.
"I'm going out to take a call."
Zhou Xinyao watched her leave and muttered softly, "What a secretive phone call.. has to go outside to answer it..."
After finishing her sentence, she rested her elbows on the table. "Cousin, have you decided? This place makes great fish; shall we order some?"
"This," she pointed to the menu, "salt-baked cod, it's very fresh, try it?"
Zhou Mingchen glanced at her. "You're treating, and that's your offer? Seems like I really should just send you straight home." With that, he made a move to get up.
Zhou Xinyao immediately pressed down on his arm. "No, no, no, then you pick whatever you want, anything is fine."
