When Zhou Mikang and Chuxia returned to the compound, it was already 8:30 p.m. Worrying that Lin Baohe and Zhao Yulan might be concerned, the pair first went over to Old Master Wan's to check-in.
Sure enough, as soon as they opened the door, Lin Baohe and Zhao Yulan stood up eagerly, their eyes unable to hide their worry. "Have you eaten?" Zhao Yulan asked.
"Mom, we've eaten. Have you, Grandpa, and Dad eaten as well?"
Old Master Wan chuckled. "I've eaten my fill, but your dad and your mom, they just picked at their rice, barely a half-bowl each. It's practically the same as not eating at all."
Lin Baohe hurried to explain, "Sitting around all day, I don't get very hungry, just a bit and I'm full."
