Raayani's guardwoman announced her presence, and Caelum agreed to meet her.
Raayani told her women to stay behind as she made her way inside the tent. Veydrin followed her behind, as he didn't want to let her inside alone.
Caelum sat in the chair, reading a document which his knight had brought in just now.
Eran stood beside him, watching Raayani walk towards them.
Caelum put the paper on the desk before him and looked at Raayani. His expression was stoic, no emotion was shown, as if he was immune to her charms.
Though it wasn't the case for his knights, as they were practically dazed.
"Raayani," Caelum's voice carried the weight of ages, his piercing gaze fixed upon the woman who had once sought his affections.
"It has been many years since I last saw you. To what do I owe this... unexpected pleasure?"
Caelum didn't greet Veydrin, and he wasn't even sparing him a glance.
And Veydrin's face twitched seeing ignorance on Caelum's face.
