Chapter 491 - Deep Space Pursuit and the Hundred-Thousand-Year Journey

The Dimension Saint God watched as the Chaos Saint God was captured, a fleeting thought of escape quickly vanishing. Escaping now would be easy, but would he then wander the endless deep space until he died? The Dimension Saint God never imagined that after countless years of enmity with the Chaos Saint God, there would come a day when he had to desperately try to save him.

The infinitely regenerating and destroying Dimension Wings instantly concentrated destructive power towards the Miracle Star Sea. However, it was a step too slow; Rosen had already sent the Miracle Star Sea into the Blue Star Micro-Universe. Then, ignoring the Dimension Saint God entirely, he retracted his Root Micro-Universe, which was integrated into his domain, back into his sea of consciousness. The Dimension Saint God, repelled by the Root Micro-Universe, still didn't want to give up, but Rosen had already torn through spacetime with his Heaven-Splitting Divine Axe and returned to the Eternal Plane of the New Universe.

The Dimension Saint God did not pursue this time. He had missed the last chance to rescue the Chaos Saint God. He never expected that the Heaven and Earth Saint God was actually Rosen in disguise. He also never expected that the Heaven-Splitting Divine Axe would be in Rosen's hands. Now, with the Heaven-Splitting Divine Axe, Rosen could repeatedly annihilate the Chaos Saint God's Indestructible Will. The Chaos Saint God, having lost his Indestructible Will, was utterly defenseless against Rosen at the memory level, so it wouldn't take long to clear his memories and shatter his Indestructible Will.

If he were to pursue Rosen into the New Universe at this moment, attempting to control the Heart of the Universe in a short time with the Memory World would be impossible. Rosen could calmly deal with the Chaos Saint God and then trap and kill him in the New Universe. The Dimension Saint God gnashed his teeth in frustration, finally turning with absolute rationality and flapping his Dimension Wings to flee into the darkness of the endless deep space. He had failed in the struggle for the New Universe. Now, his only path to survival was to head for other cosmic remnants.

If he was lucky enough to acquire resources to advance to a Primeval Lifeform from the nearest cosmic remnant, he might still be able to return and make one last stand against Rosen. If there was no hope in the cosmic remnants, it was better to die in the endless deep space than at Rosen's hands.

Without the Dimension Saint God causing trouble, the Chaos Saint God was trapped in the Miracle Star Sea with no way out. After waiting in vain for the Dimension Saint God's rescue, the Chaos Saint God realized his last chance for survival was gone. Surrendering to Rosen might offer him a chance to live. But in his view, living in humiliation was worse than a clean death.

The Chaos Saint God used his Eternal Will to bravely resist the onslaught of the Indestructible Will. Although he also possessed the Dark Sun Heavenly Eye to obscure and protect his own memories, Rosen also possessed the Dark Sun Heavenly Eye. After they canceled each other out, how could Eternal Will compete against Indestructible Will? He just needed to stall for time, as his annihilated Indestructible Will would regenerate over time.

However, even before Rosen's Heaven-Splitting Divine Axe could fall, the Chaos Saint God's newly recovered Indestructible Will astonishingly collapsed. From Indestructible Will, it decomposed into Eternal Will, Divine Origin, and Life Origin. Rosen had often wondered under what circumstances the supposedly indestructible Indestructible Will would actually be destroyed. He never imagined that the method to destroy Indestructible Will was to reverse-decompose and degenerate it.

The Heaven-Splitting Divine Axe instantly fell, continuously annihilating the Chaos Saint God's Indestructible Will, thereby preventing him from reversing the decomposition of his Indestructible Will. This was because Rosen discovered that the Chaos Saint God was actively deleting his own memories. Evidently, he had realized that in the clash at the memory level, his own memories were being stolen, so he preferred to decompose his Indestructible Will and perish completely rather than have his memories stolen and be stripped of all memories to become a puppet at someone's mercy.

Rosen tried his best to stop it, but he only delayed the Chaos Saint God's suicide. Ultimately, the Indestructible Source Seed, which delved deep into the memory level, successfully stole very limited memories. Rosen copied the memory fragments to his Main God Computer, piecing them together to the greatest extent possible to extract valuable parts.

The Chaos Saint God's memories were not completely preserved, and his Primeval Sacred Body also collapsed due to the decomposition of his Indestructible Will. However, the Chaos Primordial Core, an extraordinary essence formed from Divine Origin, the Eye of Dark Sun, the incomplete Chaos Micro-Universe, and the Primeval Universe remnants that formed the Night Veil Society, all remained intact.

Rosen first used his Indestructible Source Seed to refine the Primeval Universe remnants, then fed the remnants to the New Universe's Heart of the Universe. His control over the Heart of the Universe directly increased from one percent to two percent. This wasn't to say that the Primeval Universe remnants were more powerful than the Universe Between, but rather that he already controlled one percent of the authority. When the Heart of the Universe absorbed the Primeval Universe remnants, he could seize the opportunity to refine the Heart of the Universe to the greatest extent.

If he could capture the Dimension Saint God and obtain the Memory World, after feeding it to the Heart of the Universe, his control would increase to at least 4%.

Still, this was far from enough to fully control the Heart of the Universe, and Rosen couldn't help but think of the cosmic remnants scattered throughout the endless deep space.

After successfully refining the New Universe, how should he proceed with his future? Should he hide in the New Universe, creating life across countless planes, and then wait for the New Universe to be destroyed at some unknown time?

Rosen certainly didn't want to wait for death like that; he didn't want the New Universe to one day become another cosmic remnant. Those transcendent Primeval Lifeforms might have once had the same thought. Remaining in the New Universe might allow them to live longer, but their future would be clearly visible to its end, ultimately leading only to waiting for death.

Exploring the endless deep space to find the reason behind the destruction of countless universes—perhaps he would die along the way, or perhaps he would discover a truly immortal and indestructible path to transcendence. So, after deliberation, Rosen controlled the New Universe, shrinking it further and further.

Once the New Universe shrank to its extreme, its movement speed in the endless deep space became incredibly slow. Rosen directly placed the Chaos Micro-Universe at the stern of the Doomsday Ark, then locked onto the extremely shrunken New Universe. Using the spacetime gravity generated by the Chaos Micro-Universe to pull the New Universe, he finally propelled the Doomsday Ark, dragging the New Universe through the endless deep space.

The New Universe's previously fixed trajectory was completely disrupted by him. At first, he worried if changing the universe's trajectory would cause problems. As it turned out, not only did it not cause problems, but the endless deep space's malice towards the New Universe further diminished.

Moreover, as they moved further away from the original route, Rosen gradually discovered that the Spacetime Origin in the endless deep space was increasing. If the original fixed route was compared to a dry stream, the endless deep space they were now gradually encountering was like a damp, moist swamp. While a swamp was muddy and difficult to traverse, it contained far more water than a dry stream.

Rosen wasn't advancing without direction; he was tracking the Dimension Saint God to the nearest cosmic remnant. Nearest meant the shortest journey and relatively the smallest danger. Incidentally, he could also eliminate the Dimension Saint God, cutting off future troubles. However, dragging the New Universe significantly reduced the Doomsday Ark's cruising speed.

Although the Heaven-Splitting Divine Axe could tear spacetime, if the spacetime rifts were small, the New Universe would have difficulty passing through. If the spacetime rifts were made larger, the Heaven-Splitting Divine Axe would require longer resting periods before tearing spacetime again. So, overall, the Doomsday Ark's speed was actually slower than the Dimension Saint God's.

This was somewhat unacceptable to Rosen. What if there was something good in the cosmic remnant and he arrived too late? What if the Dimension Saint God seized the opportunity to advance to a Primeval Lifeform, perhaps gaining a chance to turn the tables?

So, after consideration, Rosen decided that his true body should first become a Primeval Lifeform. The Doomsday Ark's speed further decreased because his clone was now piloting it.

Rosen's true body, in the Eternal Plane of the New Universe, continued to integrate his continuously sublimating Indestructible Will into the Root Micro-Universe. This integration lasted for several hundred years, and the Root Micro-Universe finally became completely indestructible.

With the trinity fully perfected, Rosen naturally sublimated from an Eternal Lifeform to a Primeval Lifeform. It was at this moment that he truly experienced firsthand the gap between Eternal and Primeval.

A Primeval Lifeform's trinity had no weaknesses, unlike an Eternal Lifeform, which had weaknesses everywhere, even if they possessed Indestructible Will. Firstly, a Primeval Lifeform's memories: one copy in the Indestructible Will, one copy in the brain, and another backup copy after the Primeval Universe integrated with the Indestructible Will. To kill a Primeval Lifeform, all memories stored simultaneously in the trinity had to be annihilated.

Purely in terms of quantity, the Chaos Saint God's Primeval Sacred Body had at least one memory backup. Compared to a Primeval Lifeform, it only lacked the memory backup from a micro-universe. However, the difficulty of destroying the memories of both was at least ten to a hundred times harder for even the weakest Primeval Lifeform compared to the Chaos Saint God.

The reason was simple: the Chaos Saint God's memories were difficult to recover once destroyed. But a Primeval Lifeform was different. After the trinity was perfected, memories could be copied and pasted at any time. Even if the memory in the Indestructible Will was destroyed, the memory in the brain could be copied over at any time. If the brain's memory was destroyed, the memory backed up in the micro-universe could also be instantly copied and pasted to recover.

Through this trinity memory protection, a Primeval Lifeform's only non-indestructible memory received super-strong protection. Therefore, to kill a Primeval Lifeform, the most basic condition was to be three times stronger than the opponent in all aspects, with no blind spots.

Rosen couldn't even imagine how many years the Primeval Lifeform wars had lasted before a victor was determined. Perhaps millions or tens of millions of years wouldn't be enough; it would require units of hundreds of millions of years to grind down and determine life and death.

Rosen shuddered at the thought. Therefore, he absolutely could not allow the Dimension Saint God to advance to a Primeval Lifeform. Otherwise, if he wanted to kill him again, would he have to chase him through the endless deep space for hundreds of millions of years? At that point, it might even be unclear who was chasing whom.

Because the Dimension Saint God was only an Eternal Lifeform, many of the methods belonging to the Primeval Dimension were probably unusable for him. Once the Dimension Saint God advanced to Primeval, his strength would surely skyrocket by using those methods, while Rosen would need to gradually adapt to his own powerful strength. Various Primeval Sacred Laws still needed to be perfected, and even Primeval Sacred Objects needed to be re-refined.

Finally, the Indestructible Will's previous hard cap of one thousand points no longer existed; it could continue to increase. But increasing it was not a matter of a day or two. The immediate priority was to capture the Dimension Saint God.

After considering, Rosen decided to have his clone oversee the Doomsday Ark, then pilot the Doomsday Ark to slowly follow behind. As for his true body, he would travel light with the Heaven-Splitting Divine Axe. Rosen, with his Heaven-Splitting Divine Axe, repeatedly tore through spacetime, quickly vanishing into the darkness of the endless deep space.

Tracking the Dimension Saint God in the endless deep space was no easy feat, because of the infinite darkness and boundless spacetime; a slight deviation meant a thousand-mile error, and the smaller the target, the harder it was to track. He was able to catch up entirely due to the preparations he had made in advance.

Rosen had secretly left a few Indestructible Source Seeds within the Dimension Saint God's Dimensional Micro-Universe. As long as he didn't discover them, he couldn't escape Rosen's tracking. This pursuit lasted over two hundred years before he finally saw a trace of the Dimension Saint God.

However, after the Creator's Domain enveloped it, this Dimension Saint God, marked by the Indestructible Source Seeds, was merely a clone. Clearly, the Dimension Saint God had already discovered the Indestructible Source Seeds, and thus transferred them to his clone. The Creator's Domain instantly enveloped it, and the Miracle Star Sea had already suppressed this clone, which possessed the strength of an ordinary Eternal Lifeform.

Rosen quickly inspected the clone's memories through the Indestructible Source Seed's parasitic ability. The Dimension Saint God had discovered the Indestructible Source Seeds three hundred years ago and had separated from his clone at that time. Now, this clone didn't even know where his true body had gone.

If it was merely to evade his pursuit, there was no reason for the Dimension Saint God to use his own clone as bait. The Dimension Saint God didn't lack Eternal Lifeforms under his command; manipulating an Eternal Lifeform as bait wouldn't be difficult. Sacrificing his Eternal Lifeform-level clone, with one unit of Indestructible Will still within the clone's body, the Dimension Saint God's intention was clear: if he destroyed this unit of Indestructible Will, they would probably never meet again in the endless deep space.

If he dared to leave this unit of Indestructible Will, the Dimension Saint God would eventually come back for it. Of course, Rosen could also try to use this unit of Indestructible Will to in turn continue tracking the Dimension Saint God's true body. However, the difficulty was very high, as this Indestructible Will belonged to the Dimension Saint God after all.

Rosen cleansed the memories within this unit of Indestructible Will, then attempted to pinpoint the Dimension Saint God's true body. After trying various methods, he could at most vaguely sense the Dimension Saint God's general direction, but precise targeting was out of the question.

The next time they met, the Dimension Saint God would surely have become a Primeval Lifeform. Rosen regretfully shook his head and continued onward in the endless deep space towards the nearest cosmic remnant.

The concept of time was infinitely diluted in the endless deep space; after thousands, tens of thousands, or even a hundred thousand years, he drew closer and closer to his destination. The closer he got, the more worried Rosen felt. This was because, until he saw the cosmic remnant's true existence up close, he couldn't confirm that the cosmic remnant he saw truly existed.

The reason was simple: he couldn't see the New Universe in the endless deep space. Compared to those cosmic remnants, his New Universe seemed to be invisible in the endless deep space.

Several hundred years passed in a flash, and Rosen finally approached the nearest cosmic remnant. From afar, the cosmic remnant appeared countless times larger than the New Universe. Moreover, unlike the New Universe, which emitted a faint glow, this cosmic remnant emitted a continuous, intense light. This light was so blazing that it could travel across a distance equivalent to a hundred thousand years of a Primeval Lifeform's journey.

However, this light had no energy whatsoever; it could only be seen, not perceived. So, Rosen wasn't certain before approaching whether these lights and the cosmic remnant they originated from truly existed. Now that he had finally seen it with his own eyes, the cosmic remnant truly existed and wasn't an illusion created by light.

Rosen didn't approach rashly. Instead, he released the Elemental Saint God and other subordinates of the Chaos Saint God. Over the years, they had also been parasitized by Indestructible Source Seeds. He planned to use them to explore the cosmic remnant before him. If there was any danger, he could also escape immediately.
