"Never have I ever...hmm - " His eyes snapped up to Ezra with a sly grin, "Proposed to someone in bed." He let out a deep infectious laugh that caused the others to follow suit as Ezra let out his breath in a sharp hiss.
"Hey Cas, what was that raise you asked for earlier?" Ezra glared at him coldly.
"Double?...Sir." Casimir answered hesitantly, flinching back from his cold gaze.
"Lower it. Lower it a lot." He grumbled under his breath causing Casimir's face to fall.
"Ah, come on Mr. Acheron, sir, I was only teasing. I have a date to plan now, have mercy." He pleaded with a crestfallen expression whilst Captain Hunter felt his heart stutter nervously.
Ezra glowered and shook his head, raising the bottle to his lips.
Love stared at him incredulously, "Did you really? It wasn't...during, was it?" Love asked, wrinkling her nose in displeasure.
