Ye Shu returned to Shengjing Garden, only to see Bai Yueru waiting for her at the entrance.
"Mom, why didn't you go inside?" Ye Shu asked in surprise.
"Oh, I forgot to bring my keys. I heard from my son that you were coming back, so I specially came to see you." Bai Yueru said, her face full of affection as she held Ye Shu's hand and examined her face, "You've lost weight! Daughter-in-law, if your husband ever bullies you, just tell me. I've got your back. Don't run off rashly; it's not safe abroad. The news reports one disappearance today, another disconnect tomorrow, all troubles arising abroad."
Ye Shu laughed, "I understand, Mom. By the way, I wanted to discuss something with you."
