"Hear that, Belle? The bells are always a sign of trouble. They know something is off. It's of no use though. I sealed the door tightly. Before they come in here, you'd have been long gone." She laughed sinisterly.
Her phone rang again, and she finally picked up.
"Switch to face time you bitch!" Leonardo screamed at the other end of the call.
She flinched at the venom in his voice, but hurriedly did as she was told.
"So you've had her all along with you, and you ignored me?" he seethed on seeing Isabella through the screen.
"She's such a lovely child. I just wanted her to be comfortable. Look, she's not crying anymore. I did good, didn't I?"
"Shut it!" He roared at her, and she jerked in shock.
Even Isabella felt something was off. She buried her face in Chloe's body, away from the bad man on the screen.
Hades' ears caught the bell in the background, and his eyes darkened. "What is that?" He asked.
With quivering lips, Chloe replied. "They know," she said.
