After repairing the destruction caused by Tsunade and Momoshiki's battle, Mirai returned to Konoha with Haruna.
Following this fight, the once-mysterious Ōtsutsuki clan no longer seemed so untouchable in everyone's eyes.
Now, the ninja world was strong enough to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the Ōtsutsuki!
Even Kaguya Ōtsutsuki was in high spirits.
Back then, driven by fear of death and the temptation of the God Tree's chakra, she had ambushed Isshiki Ōtsutsuki. Ever since, a lingering unease had gnawed at her—anxiety that one day the clan would send someone to punish her.
But now, two members of the Ōtsutsuki clan had been effortlessly dealt with...
The feeling of having someone standing in front of her, shielding her, was simply exhilarating.
Kaguya resolved to serve Uchiha Mirai even more devotedly from now on.
...
Months later.
Ōtsutsuki Urashiki arrived on the moon, quickly locating traces left behind by Hamura Ōtsutsuki.
The discovery thrilled him.
Judging from the architectural style inside the moon's interior, it was clear that this was where Isshiki and Kaguya had lost contact.
As Urashiki wandered through the place, he eventually arrived at an archive room.
Inside, he found some relevant information.
"Kaguya Ōtsutsuki consumed the God Tree's fruit and became the Rabbit Goddess of this planet."
"So she must have betrayed Isshiki Ōtsutsuki. Otherwise, Kaguya herself should've been the one tending the God Tree."
After a quick analysis, Urashiki continued searching.
"She tried to manufacture White Zetsu soldiers using the God Tree... hoping to resist the Ōtsutsuki clan's judgment?"
"Pathetic."
"And then she got sealed away by her two sons..."
A cold smile crept across Urashiki's face.
No wonder this planet was still so full of life. It turned out both Isshiki and Kaguya had stumbled.
But that only worked out in his favor.
Since he had found this place, he fully intended to claim his share. When the God Tree bore fruit, he would demand half!
At that thought, Urashiki let out a small, pleased hum.
"Looks like Momoshiki arrived before me but didn't send back any news. Guess he wanted to monopolize this chakra-rich planet for himself."
"Not happening."
From the moon, Urashiki looked down at Earth, excitement flickering across his face.
Planets as vibrant and brimming with life as this were rare in the universe. Planting a God Tree seed here would undoubtedly yield a magnificent harvest.
With a flicker of thought, a pitch-black portal tore open space, and Urashiki disappeared.
...
The Shinobi World.
Konoha Village.
The annual Chūnin Exams had officially begun.
These days, the entire village was buzzing with excitement.
Outstanding genin from nearly every region were flocking to Konoha to participate.
Passing the exam meant officially becoming a ninja of Konoha—a dream that could change one's life overnight. Every year around this time, Konoha would be flooded with hopefuls.
Inside a massive arena, two young ninja faced off under thousands of watching eyes.
"Wind Release: Great Breakthrough!"
"Magnet Release: Iron Sand World Method!"
Their hands blurred through hand signs as they unleashed a dazzling array of ninjutsu.
The clash was thrilling, sending waves of excitement through the spectators.
High above, Ōtsutsuki Urashiki hovered in midair, watching the scene with clear disinterest.
Was this all? After all these years, this was the level of power achieved by the planet that had once sealed a God Tree–empowered Kaguya?
Still, he supposed it made sense. These natives had to rely entirely on their own efforts to grow stronger. It couldn't be easy.
"Whatever. I should find someone who can give me some useful information."
Casually, Urashiki descended into a quiet alley and stepped into a small, still-operating restaurant.
There was only one customer inside.
"Welcome! What would you like to eat?"
While Urashiki quietly observed, a simple, honest-looking man approached him with a smile.
Urashiki gave a cold snort and reached out to grab the man's throat.
"Hey, what do you think you're doing?!"
The man looked utterly stunned as Urashiki's hand wrapped around his neck.
Urashiki replied politely, "I just want to read the information in your mind. As long as you don't resist, I won't hurt you."
"Huh?!"
"Madara! Someone's causing trouble out here!"
From the kitchen, Uchiha Madara's voice drawled lazily as he entered the room.
He sneered, "I heard everything. He just wants to read your memories. It has nothing to do with our restaurant."
Senju Hashirama immediately protested, "But my head's full of secret recipes! If he sees them, our trade secrets will be exposed!"
Madara remained utterly nonchalant. "It's fine."
Seeing no other choice, Hashirama played his trump card.
"Madara, you wouldn't want him peeking into our memories, would you?"
Madara froze for a moment, then expressionlessly strode toward Urashiki.
"Get lost. Before I lose my patience."
Urashiki shook his head. "No. I have my reasons for doing this."
"But I can compromise. I'll extract memories from someone else instead."
"Would you like to volunteer?" Urashiki asked, staring directly at Madara.
"Scram!"
Madara snorted coldly, and a massive skeletal arm materialized, swinging down at Urashiki with crushing force.
Boom!
Urashiki's body dissolved into countless paper cranes, fluttering away to avoid the blow.
Hashirama stared in dismay at the wrecked floor.
"Madara, do you have any idea how much it's going to cost to fix this?"
Madara shrugged indifferently. "Doesn't matter. That guy over there's loaded."
"Isn't that right, Mirai?"
At a nearby table, Uchiha Mirai calmly finished his last bite of food, elegantly wiped his mouth, and smiled.
"I was planning to track this guy down anyway. Funny how he delivered himself right to my doorstep."
"Fate sure loves a good joke."
Madara raised an eyebrow. "You know him?"
Mirai nodded. "He's from the Ōtsutsuki clan. His name is Urashiki Ōtsutsuki."
At those words, excitement lit up both Madara's and Hashirama's faces.
This guy was an Ōtsutsuki?
Excellent. It looked like they were about to have a real fight on their hands!
Meanwhile, Urashiki stood there dumbfounded.
How the hell did these people already know about him?
