I held the picnic blanket as Bucky held the picnic basket and cooler bag. When he meant a picnic he meant an actual picnic. His gear was serious stuff compared to what we did at Molly's house. Even the blanket was aesthetically pleasing.
The beach was further out into the fancier suburbs of Miami. I had no idea how Bucky found this private spot but it was perfect. It was like we had our own little spot in Miami where the world couldn't find us. I loved it.
I laid the blanket out once we found a perfect spot under palm trees. It was shady and protected us from the heat of the afternoon. There was a gentle breeze but nothing much that would make us eat sand in our food.
"Oh!" I gaped when I saw the selection of food Danilo had in cute little containers. There were mini sandwiches, finger foods, beautiful desserts and an array of fruits cutely cut to resemble flowers. "You did all of this!"
He smiled and nodded proudly, "it took a lot of effort."
