When I decided to call off my plan with Olivia's father, I did not think for a second it would lead to her choosing to stay with me.
I had just wanted to make it all better for her again. For once, I wanted to give her something that wasn't tainted by my manipulation. I wanted to give her freedom.
I did not want her to wake up every day knowing her father was in a cell because of a man she shared her bed with. I did not want her haunted by the look she had given me when she said she would fight me in court. She had looked at me like the monster who was wrecking her life.
So I made the call to Drew and it was a simple order. If he was able to get her father free again then his business with me would be done. He would not need to be indebted to me about anything and he would not need to answer my calls or even receive any call from me. It was my last job for him and he had done it but not before asking me if I was sure that is what I wanted.
